I live in South Carolina.I am considering a neck lift and arm lift. Can they both be done at the same time? How long should I plan to be there before flying back alone? I understand every case is different, but I need a ballpark idea of the typical cost of these procedures in order to plan financially.
Answer: Neck Lift Thank you for your question. Many patients undergo several treatments at the same time. This is not only easier for you as far as recovery time, but it is also expensive. I suggest that you move forward and consult with a board certified facial plastic surgeon to determine your candidacy for both surgeries at once. You will also receive feedback on having both procedures at once. Best wishes,

Answer: Traveling Out of Town for Both a Neck Lift and Arm Lift Yes, it is possible to #combine both #surgeries. In fact, I commonly recommend other procedures to go accompany a facelift, such as blepharoplasty or a midface (cheek) lift, to name a few. The best procedure approach will be discussed in greater detail during your one-on-one #consultation. In regards to your post-op stay, it may best to ask your surgeon. But, plan to stay at least until your follow-up exam which is approximately a week or less after your surgery. Your board-certified plastic surgeon and staff will brief you on their suggestions for your recovery. If you have questions or specific concerns, it best to contact them to better plan your #recovery. Also, many plastic surgery practices have facilities for their #traveling clients, and if not, they can provide you information as to where you where can #heal comfortably. Additionally, #staying nearby until after your follow-up appointment may be beneficial if you have any complications or specific concerns soon after surgery. To ensure a successful surgery away from home, it's best to begin by seeking a board-certified plastic surgeon who specializes in #neck lift procedures is important to ensure you are receiving the best advice, care, and surgical experience possible. I also encourage you to look at before and after photos of the surgeons actual patients. Also, reading patient reviews of those who have had combined surgeries will be beneficial. Gathering all of this information will help you make a well-informed decision.

Answer: Neck lifts run $6500-12,000 and Arm lifts run $10,000. Neck lifts can vary a lot depending on what is needed to be done. If it is a simple platysmaplasty where the excision is under the chin, then it runs $6500. If you need a lower face/neck lift then $12,000 is average. Arm lifts with an armpit excision which is the best to conceel the scar is $10,000. All these procedures are best under local anesthesia with a little iv sedation and can be done just a day apart and you can fly off in 7-10 days.

Answer: Neck Lift | Arm Lift Thank you for your question about neck lift and arm lifts. Most surgeons should be able to perform both procedures at the same time. This should cut down on facility and anesthesia fees. Realself provides data for the average cost of this procedure and others for your specific geographic area. Cost can vary significantly depending on where you live, as well as different surgeon’s fee, anesthesia fee and facility fee. To be sure, see two or more experienced, licensed and board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have treatment. I hope this helps.

Answer: Considering a neck lift and arm lift. Can they be done at the same time? How long should I plan to be there before flying back? Thank you for sharing your question. Depending on the amount of work needed for both the neck lift and arm lift you may be able to have both procedures performed during the same operation. Your overall health history and ability to undergo surgery need to be cleared of course. I would anticipate staying at least 1-2 weeks time to allow for appropriate follow up and drain removal. Prices for both procedures are centered around three cost centers: anesthesia, facility, and surgeon's fees. The first two are usually based on the amount of time spent in the operating room with prices that are set by the respective cost center. A surgeon has discretion in his charges to patients and this will encompass the surgical procedure as well as the cost of the implants used. As these three cost center will vary across the country and by each surgeon, best to see a few physicians in consultation to have a better estimate but you can anticipate 10-15K. Hope this helps.
