I consulted with six surgeons for my facelift. Dr. Foad Nahai was the only physician I would trust with my face. Other surgeons said I would want/need fillers or PRP in addition to a facelift. Dr. Nahai does facial fat grafting, a relatively permanent and natural solution to age related loss of facial fat. He is extremely skilled at this, and one of the rare surgeons who is experienced and skilled at fat grafting around the eyes. Although I was not certain I would be happy with the result, I felt that I had the best chance of a good outcome with Dr. Nahai. The result has exceeded my expectations and I am thrilled every time I look in the mirror. Delanna Atlanta, GA
Just excellent with careful attention from Dr. Nahai! He is the BEST!! He is so very skillful, artistic and his results are NATURAL!! Dr. Nahai is kind, very considerate and takes the time to address questions and concerns.
Dr Nahai is wonderful! He was recommended to me by other physicians and proved to be so skilled and pleasant. He is calm and caring and (perhaps most importantly) talented. He went above and beyond what is necessary to make sure that I was happy with the results of my surgery and continued to follow-up with me to make sure I was satisfied. I cannot recommend him more highly.
He has been taking care of me for a long time and I have only been totally satisfied with his care!!!! If I have ever had any concerns they have been quickly and professionally addressed. I would not go to anyone but dr. Nahai!!!!!
Dr. Nahai came highly recommended so my expectations were already high. I had a face and neck lift and upper and lower blepharoplasty. He far exceeded my expectations. I got a fabulous result. Couldn’t be happier.
Other doctors have told me that Dr. Nahai is the best in the business. I now know he is. After living with substandard breast reconstruction for years, Dr. Nahai has given me beautiful, natural looking and feeling breasts. He also performed reconstructive fat transfers to my face that make me look better than I ever thought I could. My friends now tell me that I am beautiful. It upsets me to read any negative review of Dr. Nahai. Even the most brilliant physician is limited by what the patient brings to him to work with.
After having a very bad lipo procedure in Atl with Dr. Jeffords that resulted in having to have a thigh lift later, I was very, very wary of any more plastic surgery. I went to Paces Plastic Surgery (now Emory aesthetics) because they were the only practice that gave me hope of fixing my horrible cobblestone stomach. I decided to have breast augmentation at the same time and hoped this would be the last of my plastic surgery journey. Although my stomach turned out better the augmentation was not satisfactory and resulted in two revisions by a former doctor. Dr. Nahai just did my final revision and I am so pleased and wish I had used him all along. He has a very kind bedside manner and he is a great listener. Even better though, he is a skilled and careful plastic surgeon. I am much more confident now and my husband is pleased and relieved that my breasts finally look normal. He also did some fat grafting to improve the area and I have my fingers crossed it stays because it made a huge difference too.
I've been considering a breast augmentation for quite some time now. I breastfed my daughter for over a year, and never pumped/bottle fed. This took a major toll on the shape of my breast. They were a deflated 34B, and I wanted a full C/small B. Initially I selected 375cc, but changed my mind the day of surgery. Updated on 17 Oct 2014: These are my before pictures. As you can see my breast were uneven and deflated. Updated on 17 Oct 2014: I was the first surgery scheduled on Oct 16th. I arrived at the clinic at 6am, signed final papers. They did a pregnancy test, and then hooked me up to an IV. I was super anxious and nervous. The anesthesiologist came is to verify my medical history, then gave me medication via IV to calm me down prior to taking me to the operating room. Once I got in the operating room I spoke with Dr. Nahai about sizing (I originally wanted 375cc, but told him I wanted 400cc instead). I remember them putting the mask on my face and that's it. Dr. Nahai marked me up and everything after I was already out. It literally felt like I had taken a 10 minute nap, but I woke up with boobs! I woke up with my surgical bra already on. They gave me meds and crackers and water before I went home. Updated on 17 Oct 2014: Here are pictures. Updated on 18 Oct 2014: I've started to lessen my pain med dosage, and I've begun to spread out how often I've been taking them. There's somewhat of a burning sensation where my incisions are, but I wouldn't describe it as painful, just a bit uncomfortable. I've been moving around a lot more today, but my arms are still sore. Will post pictures later. Updated on 19 Oct 2014: I was a bit more mobile today. My pain isn't too bad either. Tomorrow I have an appointment with Dr. Nahai. Updated on 21 Oct 2014: I had my first post op appointment yesterday. Everything went well. Dr. Nahai said they look really good so far. He changed my steri strips, answered all of my questions, and wrote a refill for my pain meds in case I needed them. I'm scheduled to see him again next Monday. As far as everything else, I feel good. I've been trying to take it easy. The only thing I've really been doing is going to class. The pain gets better with each passing day. Updated on 26 Oct 2014: So, I'm 10 days post op, and im no longer in pain. I've gotten sensation back in both nipples, but there's still a bit of a numbing feeling on my left side. I can feel it gradually going away. My incisions are incredibly itchy, I think that's probably the most irritating thing right now. I've noticed that I'm oftentimes a little winded when walking up steps, that's new for me. Tomorrow I'll have my second post op visit with Dr Nahai. Updated on 9 Aug 2015: I love my boobs.
Dr. Foad Nahai and his staff are wonderful, highly-trained and caring professionals. I am absolutely thrilled with the results of my surgery, and if I had to do it all over again, I would choose the Emory Aesthetic Center. At my initial consultation, Dr. Nahai, made his recommendations, then patiently answered all of my questions. Photos were taken, then "PhotoShopped" to show me how I would look after surgery. I scheduled my surgery for 4 months later, and everything went as planned, including my 2-night stay in their spa, post-surgery, where I was kept "iced down" and totally pampered by nurses 24/7. This was a wonderful experience and I only wish I had gone to Dr. Nahai a few years earlier.
Dr Nahai did my rhinoplasty over a decade ago. My nostril completely collapsed & he offered no sympathy. After the surgery he told me “this happens to 1 out of 10 patients.” If that’s his success rate, I would’ve appreciated that information being shared at my consultation. I got no money back, no financial help for the revision I had to pay over 20k for with another surgeon. I don’t recommend him not only because of his poor work but because of his poor character. Sorry to say.
Dear Katherine87590, Thank you for your question regarding a brow lift. Yes, there are options. Depending on the contour/curvature of the forehead an endoscopic approach may be possible. Alternately there are techniques which combine lowering the hair line with a brow lift, but a scar right at the hairline is required.
Dear SCLady1, Thank you for your questions regarding neck and arms lifts. Whilst both could be done at the same time, the decision should be based on the length of the combined procedures and your general health. Combining procedures and prolonged operative times are associated with greater risks of complications. Once your surgeon has examined you and assessed the time required for each a decision can be made about the safety of combining the two procedures. You should plan on staying for at least a week before flying home. In terms of cost, there is a varied range which depend on the amount of time in the operating room, complexity of the case and surgical approach. It is always best to seek out a plastic surgeon and allow him or her to assess you in person, at this time you will be provided with a cosmetic cost for the procedures you are interested it. By doing so, you will also receive greater clarification on whether your neck and arm lifts can be completed at the same time.
Dear Ana_bana, Thank you for your question regarding face/neck lift after liposuction. Any previous procedure on the neck, including liposuction, noninvasive treatments such as Ultherapy and Radiofrequency or Kybella injections will result in scarring. The scarring will not prevent you from having a face or neck lift but will make the neck part a little more challenging for your surgeon. An experienced surgeon should have little or no difficulty dealing with previous scars in the neck or face.
Thank you for your questions. Once all of your wounds have healed and are stable, usually about 3 weeks post-operatively, you can begin using retinol cream unless you also had a facial peel during surgery.
Thank you for your question regarding a facelift. After reviewing your photos, the best and most cost effective option for you would be a face/neck lift.
