After Smart Lipo, my white blood cell count is high

The list of differential diagnoses for an elevated white cell count is long. Old dictum : common problems are common in Medicine. An infection related to the fistula or elevated white cell count due to your viral syndrome are both high on the list of possibilities. Smartlipo is not the cause for the white cell elevation. There's no way to determine the source of an eleveted WBC count from a single measurement. However, non-emergency surgeries are routinely rescheduled if you're sick with a cold or the flu for various reasons including increased airway secretions. There's also no way to tell if your cold and your WBCs will be normal specifically on Monday. Just reschedule for 2 weeks to be sure.
