I look so torn apart and the bottom half under the highly replaced nipple, the bottom half is deflated, and the vertical was squeezed tight making a cone look-- I am now 3 weeks post op, I have some volumn but it is at top (!) will this lower and fill the bottom, where it should be,? no one else's looks so poorly!! ..please give me your opinion. Thank you.
Answer: Breast Implant Explantation and Lift : Results I agree with the first two doctors responding. It's too early to tell. It's good that the volume is pushed up because it will come down. The shape will dramatically improve with time. This means multiple months. It can be frustrating but be patient.Sometimes revision procedures are necessary but not usually.I expect all will be well!Dr Chris Saunders

Answer: After explantation and paying for a lift, my breasts look deformed: What recourse do I have, I am emotionally drained? Although your concerns are understandable, I think that you may be pleasantly surprised what your breasts look like several months from now. At this point, continued patience and time are your “best friends”. Again, don't be surprised if you are pleased with the longer-term outcome of the procedure performed. Best wishes.

Answer: Breast lift concerns I think that you really just have to wait and see. It is way too early to know what things will look like. One of the difficulties with certain breast lift/ reduction procedures is that the end result is not seen early on. Often times the surgeon will intentionally over-correct knowing that it will settle out. It takes time for swelling to resolve, for tissue to relax, and for gravity to pull things down. I realize it takes faith on your part. It is not to say that a revision may not be required to touch things up, but now is not even close to the time to make that call. Discuss your concerns with your surgeon. You had enough trust in them to have surgery. Have the same that they will follow through on this with you.

Answer: Lifts require shaping of the breast tissues, not just the skin I have to agree with one of the other docs that answered already, except that I would say the right procedure may have been chosen, but poorly executed. I have seen this before when other surgeons seem to have a poor design for the vertical lift in the first place, or did an insufficient creation of a breast mound with your tissue before closing. I've repaired many! The good news is that this can be "fixed" with a revision of the lift. Try to find a surgeon with extensive experience with vertical lifts.
