For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest reaching out to an expert for a consultation with surgical and non-surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.
aThanks for your question! It is a difficult one to answer without knowing your past medical history and the exact surgery you are getting on your chin. Many liposuction and Facetite procedures are performed during one surgery, under local anesthesia with minimal downtime. If you are first getting traditional, tumescent liposuction, I would recommend waiting 6 – 12 months before going in the same surgical area. Make sure you are consulting and having surgery with board certified plastic surgeons. Good luck!
Hi. I am happy you asked this question. Facetite is a radiofrequency device used to heat tissues to give lifting and tightening. It is done WITH liposuction (prior to the removal of the fat). It is NOT done after liposuction. So, if you are in need of extra skin tightening, and you are not ready for a surgical neck lift, then you will need to find a surgeon who offers Facetite and do it with your liposuction!!
Dear Julisol13,It depends if you are looking to get FaceTite in the same area as the liposuction or if you are getting it in a different area. If it is in a different area, you should be able to get it within 2-3 weeks, once the majority of swelling has subsided. However, if you are looking to treat the same area with the 2 modalities, you would like need to wait about 6 months or so until you have fully healed and can see the final results of the liposuction. I will mention that there are many practices that offer both liposuction and FaceTite/NeckTite, this is a combination that I perform often. I find that patients do better when combining procedures and having one downtime as opposed to need 2 different recovery period. Hope that helps!
Much more information is needed, such as a full set of pictures of your face and neck and your age to make a determination which is the Best procedure for you. Very important understand there are two compartments of fat in the neck, and liposuction only removes the fat deposits above the platysma muscle. A Surgical necklift is required to remove the sub-platysmal fat deposits which also includes the platysma-plasty. A lower face and neck lift is required when there is loose and inelastic skin in the neck
Facetite is an adjunct to liposuction. They go together. It is really the wrong plan to do them separately. I'm surprised your surgeon of choice didn't say that and refer you to one that does both. The procedure uses facetite energy as the start followed immediately by liposuction to remove the melted fat and contour the neck. This is usually done under local anesthesia in the office. Good luck.
Masseter Botox is a good step towards achieving a slimmer jawline. Keep in mind that Botox is temporary and will require repeat treatments to maintain results. You can consider adding Morpheus8. These treatments combine RF technology with microneedling to improve overall skin tone and texture...
AThank you for your question. Buccal fat requires direct excision. It is often too deep and in a different plane than the Facetite/Accutite can reach. Be sure you consult with a board certified plastic surgeon! Good luck!
An in person evaluation is best, but from the photos it appears you are a good candidate for FaceTite with Morpheus8. FaceTite uses RF technology to tighten skin and rejuvenate contours. It is minimally invasive with no general anesthesia required. Morpheus8 treatments can be added to...
