I had a breast reducing operation 15 years ago. I have had network chiropractic for two years. It has changed my spine and neck a lot, but it is awful in my tissue sensation. It's like a thin sticky, fibrotic layer hangs from my right breast. When I walk it's like having a long marshmallow all the way into my leg. The overall sensation is that I have something in between breast and arm. Is this a sign of adhesions? If yes, what to do? If no, what could it be? Extra cellular matrix?

Thank you for your question. As a guideline, patients who have over 20 cm from the inframmary fold to the nipple are a candidate for the free nipple graft. If you wonder whether or not a nipple graft is necessary it probably is a good idea to get a consultation with an experienced surgeon
Generally speaking, I counsel patients that they they will end up with a “C” cup. Having said that, cup sizes change depending on where you get measured. The important thing to remember is that they turn out to be proportionate and fit your body better. Thank you.
