Is it possible to achieve upper breast fullness without dramatically increasing breast size?

Yes, it is possible to improve the upper breast fullness with a small implant with a re-lifting of the breast if needed.  The breast can be reshaped but it is difficult to change the location.  The position of the nipple and areola can be changed but it is difficult to change the "footprint" of the breast.  I recommend a plastic surgery consultation to discuss options to improve the appearance of your breasts.

This is a common finding and presentation in my office.  You have a few options:1.  Breast lift with tissue rearrangement to provide upper pole fullness of your inherent tissues.2.  Breast lift with small implant under the muscle to provide conservative fullness and cleavage.3.  Breast lift with autologous fat transfer to provide more cleavage and fullness.You would need to be seen in person and evaluated by a board certified plastic surgeon with expertise in these procedures.

You certainly can achieve the results that you are describing with conservative sized implants. Most patients really do not need large implants and the best results are seen when conservative sized implants are utilized. You might end up requiring another breast lift along with the augmentation.

Another option to consider if you are trying to avoid going significantly larger is fat transfer. One of the main benefits of this approach is that the fat can be placed only in the area where you want more fullness, without making the rest of the breast larger.

It is certainly possible to achieve more upper breast fullness with the selection of an appropriate size implant.  Much depends on your exam and the elasticity and remaining thickness of your breast tissue.  The addition of an implant alone may be all that is needed, but a detailed exam is needed to determine this.

You can have fuller breasts with the appropriate size implant.  You might also consider fat transfer to the breast which can specifically target any area that lacks fullness.  It can also create cleavage by adding fat between the two breasts.
