You are starting from a good position and should anticipate a nice result.  Because of your tight chest tissues and muscle I would advocate sticking to a lower profile implant, such as moderate/moderate plus, and in a size that best fits your breast width.  With time you should achieve a nice natural result as your tissues stretch.  Hope this helps.

Dear erinc641,breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. Based on the pictures you submitted, you should obtain a nice result with breast augmentation. As to how to achieve that and what type of implants to us, obtain a face to face consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon near you. They can examine you, then discuss options to achieve the look you desire.

Erin. I appreciate your concern, because size and shape does matter when seeking a natural looking result in breast augmentation. I ask my patients to bring in photos of breasts the size they desire, because there can otherwise be confusion because B or C cup can vary greatly by brassiere manufactures! I also utilize the implant in the bra technique, with several different implant sizes with a tighter fitting T-shirt to get an idea of what you will look like. Finally, I prefer to meet with my breast implant patients at least twice before surgery, so I am confident that I know exactly what her desires regarding shape and size are. I then have several sized implants in the patient's desired range available in the OR to allow me to tailor the operation to fit her needs. Be certain your surgeon understands your desires and you should do great as this operation carries a very high satisfaction rate. Be sure to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. Every patient has different ideas about their ideal look so it is important to find a surgeon who can  create the most natural-looking results in proportion to your body.  Most people today ask for results that will fill out their clothing or accentuate their body, but not make them look artificial.  Be sure to consult a board certified plastic surgeon who can consistently achieve this with their specialized surgical process and recovery plan.

The key is to assess your skin stretch /elasticity as it will provide your surgeon with the ability to choose the correct size and profile in order to achieve your aim. I would advice you to have a face to face consultation with a plastic surgeon.

You are starting from a good place as far as your current anatomy is concerned.  If you and your surgeon choose a narrow low profile implant you can achieve a very natural appearing result.  I no longer recommend tear drop shaped implants as they are textured and I only use smooth implants.  Discuss with a board certified surgeon and go over his or her pre and post op results in the office to discuss the look you want.  Good luck!
