Brow lift - would it give me too much of a surprised look? (Photo)

Question

would a browlift be quite likely to give me too much of a surprised look given the current position of the brows? Would Botox, fat transfer, and full ablative laser be enough to get rid of the deep static forehead wrinkles? Would full ablative laser be enough for upper and lower lids or would blepharoplasty be needed?

Based solely on the area around your eyes in the photo, it's difficult to determine whether there is excess skin, muscle, or fat in your upper and lower eyelids. It's not the best photo.  If, indeed, the main problem in your upper and lower eyelids is excess skin,  then laser treatment isn't your best option; what would be best is a  blepharoplasty. Repositioning your eyebrow in its ideal placement  gives more balance to the upper third of your face and provides a  more relaxed and refreshed expression. The lines created by the contraction of the frown lines (eleven lines) can be successfully treated surgically, achieving great results lasting for many years. In my opinion, the best way to treat this is undergoing an endoscopic facial surgery combined with micro and nano fat grafting. So, a Browlift would not give you a surprise look. I hope this helps.

It's hard to tell anything from that photo. In general, a browlift would not make you look surprised if the proper techniques are used. We perform an endoscopic brow lift, which usually looks very natural. If extra eyelid skin is present in addition to having droopy brows, then an upper blepharoplasty should be done at the same time. Be sure to see a facial specialist for consultation.

Your photograph is very limited. However, your eyebrows appear to be below the level of the orbital rim. They should be at the level of the orbital rim in men and above the orbital rim in women. You may benefit from a brow lift. You may also benefit from an upper and lower blepharoplasty. I would need more photographs to give you a more accurate answer.

While there are various options for facial rejuvenation, including neuromodulators, surgical procedures and ablative/non-ablative lasers, it would be prudent to have an in person examination by someone with experience and training in these techniques. If you are hoping to obtain a slightly lifted more natural appearance, this is feasible. Your photo is somewhat limited in terms of viewing your forehead, upper and lower lids due to the resolution. A detailed consultation with a facial plastic surgeon may be of benefit to address your concerns.

It's difficult to tell from the photo the correct recommendations for you.  A brow lift should reposition the brows resulting in a refreshed, natural look.  It should not create a "surprised" look.  Botox is helpful in treating the glabella area and softening the furrowed look.  Laser treatments can be used in conjunction with other treatments to improve overall skin tone and texture.
