It took me nearly six months of research to find the right doctor to trust with my face.I attended four in-person consultations and several Zoom appointments with surgeons across different parts of Mexico. I tend to be quite skeptical and careful when it comes to entrusting othersespecially with something as delicate as facial surgery. In my opinion, a facelift combined with upper and lower blepharoplasty and a brow lift is one of the most intricate procedures a surgeon can perform. After extensive research, I finally found the perfect doctor: Dr. Arturo Valdez. Dr. Valdez is not only an exceptionally talented and meticulous perfectionist in his work, but also a genuinely kind and compassionate human being. His warmth and empathy immediately put me at ease. From the very first consultation, I knew I was in the right hands. His entire team was outstandingprofessional, attentive, and supportive throughout the entire process. I was especially impressed by the level of post operative care. Dr. Valdez personally checked on me twice, and even the anesthesiologist visited during my 24 hour hospital stay to ensure I was recovering comfortably and safely. That level of attention and dedication truly exceeded my expectations. Thank you, Dr. Arturo, for your incredible work and care. I couldn’t be more grateful.

Such an excellent experience and the results are perfect! (FL, NL, Brow lift, fat transfer, lower bleph.) I'm two weeks post-op as I write this review and I only have one slight bruise. Why did I choose Dr. V? Because of his being double board certified, and his line of open-ended questions in which to discover what really 'bothered me' and what I wanted the outcome to be, and his explainations that set such good expectations. In addition, I would only accept a surgeon who is performing the surgery in a hospital that has achieved accreditation from The Joint Commission. TJC is the gold standard for medical facility standards in patient care, safety, cleanliness, etc. The hospital Dr. V uses is accredited by TJC as well as the Mexican and Canadian organizations of similar nature. You will find he has a wonderful group that supports him and us as his patients, everything went off without a hitch! :) He even provided me with a nurse to stay with me thru the first full evening/night following my surgery! p.s. I traveled from the US to Cancun on my own....yet I truly never felt alone! His team is VERY responsive should I have any need or question.

Dr. Valdez performed a breast implant explant (removal) and a capsulectomy on me about 6 months ago and I am completely happy with the results. He and his team were excellent at communicating with me both pre and post op sometimes through video calls. While I was in Cancun (I decided to do this all by myself which they seemed a bit surprised), they were all so warm and helpful it made me feel very comfortable and safe. Even the anesthesiologist lady was so sweet and made me feel at ease. The staff at the Amerimed hospital were great and very professional too. I loved the soup they gave me.. I had no problem finishing it even though I was so tired from the operation! Every time I was with Dr. Valdez, he took my worries away and I felt comfortable and confident. I especially appreciated how he didn't rush to remove my drains post op and was more on the cautious side, when my fluid buildup stayed kind of high as I didn't want to risk getting on a plane for home with potential issues. He even left me with the removed silicone implants (I got them over 20 years ago!) and capsule tissue and told me I could keep them if I wanted. I did! It was nice to know what was inside of my body this whole time. My breasts are flatter now, but I am truly happy and very satisfied with the results and this whole experience Dr. Valdez and his lovely team.

Dr.Valdez is an amazing surgeon . My whole experience with my surgery was great ! Med Bnb made my experience wonderful , they help you the whole way from booking the surgery to the follow ups when your back home . Always answering any questions or concerns , they are literally there by your side the whole time . From appointments to accommodations , getting groceries , anything you need while you’re there ! I have had major plastic surgery in my own country Canada and from both experiences I must say getting my surgery done in Mexico with Dr. Valdez was hands down the best decision I could have made . For anyone questioning going there for surgery I would highly recommend doing it . The whole process was easy and they are by your side the whole time and the after care they provide is amazing !

Dr Valdez is meticulous in his work. He explains not only what he is doing, but why. He communicates clearly and speaks genuinely. Despite my fears of surgery he sincerely made me feel at ease with his confidence and knowledge. My results are above and beyond. I made the best decision to rely on him and his team for my facelift.

Wonderful experience with Dr Valdez, very caring, informative and great follow up. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone and have in fact done so. I would rate the entire office as organized, well thought out and very easy understand. Dr Valdez answered any questions that I or my spouse had in a way that we could easily understand them. I had a deep plane neck and facelift, endoscopic brow lift, upper and lower blepharoplasty, lip lift and fat transfer with Dr. Valdez in October 2025. The entire process, from my video conference call to the surgery and post operative care far exceeded my expectations. I am 64 years old, and was unhappy with how my face and neck were aging. Every time I looked in the mirror, or saw photos of myself, I cringed. Dr. Valdez took his time analyzing my features, asked me what results I was hoping to achieve, and then recommended the above surgery. I felt very safe and taken care of. His entire team of office staff, nurses and anesthesiologist were incredibly kind and caring, not to mention true professionals. My procedures were split into 2 separate surgeries, one week apart. The hospital and the surgical suite was state of the art. I traveled from the United States to Cancun, and my recovery team, through My Medical Vacations, were wonderful. They made sure that every detail, from transportation to accommodations, was handled. Dr. Valdez and his team truly go above and beyond. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a renewed version of themselves. It's only been 3 months and I feel and look like I did 15 years ago. The results are very natural, my scars are hidden in my hairline and barely noticeable. I am beyond happy!

First of all, I want to start by thanking Dr. Valdez and all his staff for the excellent service, so warm and dedicated to their patients, making you feel calm and confident in the process. My experience has been wonderful; from the first time in 2023 to this second time in 2026, I have been left with a great impression because of the results, the quality they provide, and above all, because they really helped me fit it into my schedule. Regarding my process, from the beginning they were first concerned with ensuring I was in optimal condition to undergo my procedure. Dr. Valdez helped me with all my questions. I love that they also make sure your companion is kept informed of every detail of the process. My husband was continuously updated on which part of the process I was in, and as soon as I came out of surgery in the afternoon they informed him. Both the doctor and the anesthesiologist came to see me in the afternoon to make sure I was doing well; you really feel well taken care of. The hospital, which I also think is very important to mention, is one of the best in Cancun actually, they provide quality service and the nurses are always helping you. Honestly, I love the work that Dr. Valdez does. I have nothing but positive things to say about him, which is why I came back. I have recommended him (by the way, several of my friends have already gone to see him). I highly recommend Dr. Valdez; believe me, he is the best option in Cancún, and I dare to say in all of Mexico.
