I flew from Chicago to Cancun to have a deep plane facelift, neck lift, and forehead lift with Dr. Valdez and I am ecstatic. He completely exceeded my expectations and my results are phenomenal!!! He is a member of the Aesthetic Society which is very big deal, I think only one other Dr. in his region is a member of this society. They require continuing education done in the US, and doctors have to follow safety protocol's among other important details. His technique is different because of what he learned here in the states. He does not use compression post op, and you lay flat your first night in the hospital which completely reduces swelling and bruising, he also has special techniques in the OR to reduce swelling and bruising post op. The day after surgery I barely looked like I had surgery! The nursing staff that took care of me throughout was outstanding, daily visits to my hotel and they are so much fun to hang with.
I seriously can’t say enough good things about Dr. Valdez! I’ve had two liposuction procedures done with him, and both times the results were even better than I expected. He’s super professional, made me feel comfortable the whole way through, and really listened to what I wanted. I’ve recommended a bunch of friends to him, and every single one has been just as thrilled with their results. If you’re thinking about getting anything done, I honestly wouldn’t go to anyone else. Dr. Valdez is amazing!
This was my third procedure with Dr. Valdez, and I truly can’t speak highly enough about him. My journey started with a breast reduction, followed by two rounds of liposuction and a deep neck lift—and each experience has only strengthened my trust in his skill, care, and professionalism. I 100% trust Dr. Valdez, and if anyone is considering getting anything done, I recommend him without a single doubt. He’s not only a gifted surgeon but also someone who genuinely listens and delivers results that go beyond expectations.
I have seen Dr Valdez for 3 different surgeries now over the last 14 years. The first being very early in his career. He’s caring, compassionate and gives real advice. I’ll never forget coming in with unrealistic expectations and Dr Valdez taking the time to explain why my original want wasn’t a good idea. It wasn’t going to work for my body, and I would undoubtedly be unhappy with the result, as well as put my health at risk with potential complications. How many other surgeons would take the time and potentially risk the loss of a sale by being realistic with you? I knew in that moment he was different than other surgeons I’d seen, patients over profit, and I will always trust his advice. He took the time to know me as a person, not just a patient, and helped me make the right decisions on my surgeries. Choosing to have a cosmetic procedure is life changing, I used to hide under baggy clothes and have little confidence. I’d worked so hard in the gym but I couldn’t get rid of the skin. I hated how I looked and that lack of confidence seeped into my everyday life. It affected how I carried myself, how I interacted with others, what events I’d shy away from. I can’t even begin to count the number of times I’d cry because the spanks didn’t hide the skin and you could see it through my dress. I didn’t want anyone to see me. When I reflect back to the person I was before I met Dr Valdez, Andres and the entire team, I can hardly believe I’m that same person. I’ll forever be grateful for them giving me my confidence back and changing my life. I’ve written several reviews over the years and will continue to champion Dr Valdez and the amazing team he works with. If you are on the fence in making your decision and reading this, just know you’re in great hands and can put your trust in Dr Valdez to give you the best outcome. I did, and I’ve never been happier.
My experience from start to finish with Dr Valdez has been nothing but amazing. From the consults to the follow ups I would give a 15 out of 10. The results are more than I had hoped for. The incisions are next to invisible. If anyone is thinking about a procedure (I had a facelift) in Mexico Dr. Valdez should definitely be on your radar.
Making the choice to get a procedure done in another country is not for the faint of heart. What made the process entirely comfortable was not only Dr. Valdez‘s professional credentials but also the many reviews and pictures from past procedures that are available. I did my homework and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. He was so thorough leading up to my procedure and the results exceeded my expectations in every way. The aftercare is also very thorough and I felt taken care of from the moment I arrived in Cancun until the day I left. Dr Valdez is very detail oriented and four months later he is still checking in to make sure the scars are healing properly. They look amazing by the way!! I can’t say enough good things about him and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a talented surgeon and a great experience.
I live in the US and wanted a face lift. After checking with my local surgeons I had decided that I could not afford the prices. At that point I researched having a facelift in Mexico. I read a number of very positive reviews of Dr. Valdez in Cancun, but still wanted to explore other surgeons. I was nervous about going out of the states to have surgery, but after gathering all the information and speaking to some of his team, especially Betty, I was convinced that Dr. Valdez was the right choice, and I was correct. Not only is Dr. Valdez professional, talented, and an expert surgeon, he is also attentive and caring, and communicates well. I strongly believe I could not have been in better hands. Working with Dr. Valdez is his fabulous team. The anesthesiologist was superb and explained what she was going to do and what I should expect. I was never nauseous and I felt safe and secure. The team of surgical nurses were kind and professional, and the office receptionists were all friendly and efficient. I worked with My Medical Vacations, who took care of lodging for 21 days. Everything was taken care of, transportation to and from the airport, Dr’s appointments, and even to the grocery and other apppointments, along with excellent nursing visits, (thank you Ana and Marlen). My husband came with me, but I could have done this by myself because of all the help that was offered. And this was all part of the entire price. I was amazed! Best of all is that I love the results. I look like myself 15 years ago, only better. My skin glows and my face is fuller, and my neck and jawline are taut. Even people close to me can not tell I had surgery. It is a process and you want to give yourself some downtime to recovery, but each week and even each day you can see progress. I choose to stay in Mexico for 6 weeks after surgery, 3 of those weeks was in My Medical Vacations lodging, and the next 3 weeks my husband and I traveled through the Yucatan area, which was beautiful and safe, with delicious and healthy food. I saw Dr. Valdez throughout my 3 weeks in Cancun, and he and his team were easily accessible by phone and WhatsApp afterward. I could have comfortably returned home after the three weeks in Cancun, but wanted to experience more of Mexico. My fears of having facial cosmetic surgery were dispelled after my experience with Dr. Valdez and his fabulous team. Thank you all!
Dr. Arturo its great, i had a nose surgery last year and it fullfill all of my expectations, his attention to detail its amazing; my nose job was excelent, the result was was very natural and aesthetic just as i wanted! All of his staff its very nice and well oriented, the recovery time was very very fast and with no pain wich its something i really apreciate!!
After extensive research for a plastic surgeon i landed on Dr Arturo, to perform my surgery. I was very reluctant to go outside of the US for my surgery but due to budget constraints and a determination to succeed I followed my instincts and booked a consultation. I'm so happy I made the decision to work with Dr Arturo. He is very studious about his work which made me feel comfortable that I was in good hands and he is very experienced and skilled at what he was about to do. He was very thorough in his pre-surgery examinations and on the day of the surgery knowing how nervous I was he and his team made every effort to ease my anxiety to move forward. I will always advise anyone interested in invasive surgery to do their own thorough research but I highly recommend Dr Arturo. Having traveled from the US for the surgery the post surgery follow-up care was 100%. Dr Arturo's team visited me everyday to change and look at the incision and gave experienced advise on how to ensure the healing would be clean and unnoticable. Even back in the US he continued with follow-up calls to review the healing. I have had many compliments on the quality of the incision, his work is precise and on point and the cut was straight. I know of friends who had my same surgery in the US and need follow-up surgery revisions and barely get to speak to their surgeon. I will absolutely give a 5 star rating as it is in my opinion he is one of the best. As an incentive for posting a review, this reviewer received an entry into RealSelf’s monthly $500 gift card giveaway.
I highly recommend Dr Arturo Valdez!! The product quality is consistently outstanding, exceeding my expectations , Their staff is not only friendly but also highly skilled they help me all the time ..
Based solely on the area around your eyes in the photo, it's difficult to determine whether there is excess skin, muscle, or fat in your upper and lower eyelids. It's not the best photo. If, indeed, the main problem in your upper and lower eyelids is excess skin, then laser treatment isn't your best option; what would be best is a blepharoplasty. Repositioning your eyebrow in its ideal placement gives more balance to the upper third of your face and provides a more relaxed and refreshed expression. The lines created by the contraction of the frown lines (eleven lines) can be successfully treated surgically, achieving great results lasting for many years. In my opinion, the best way to treat this is undergoing an endoscopic facial surgery combined with micro and nano fat grafting. So, a Browlift would not give you a surprise look. I hope this helps.
Hello, my main question for you would be: When did you notice that your upper eyelids are getting heavier? There are 2 important issues here; first; the ideal opening of the upper eyelid should be to the level of the upper edge of the iris. From what can be seen in your photo, the edge of the eyelashes of your upper eyelids do not rise fully and one of them is almost at the level of the pupil. If this is the case, we are talking about Palpebral Ptosis. This is a condition in which your upper eyelid droops, sags or falls over your eye. It usually happens because your levator muscle — the muscle that lifts your eyelid — doesn't work as it should. The condition can limit your vision or block it completely, depending on how much your lid droops. Which can be congenital or acquired. The other issue is the excess skin of the eyelid and the descent of the skin of the upper third of the face around your eyes, which involves the position of the eyebrow, forehead, and lateral hooding. I consider that to correct these changes the ideal treatment would be an Endobrowlift (endoscopic approach for the eyebrow, and upper third of the face) to reposition the eyebrow in its ideal position and an upper blepharoplasty plus correction of the Palpebral Ptosis. I hope this helps.
Drains and hemostatic sutures have different functions. Drains help eliminate the fluid that is produced when elevating the facial flap and thus the drains help prevent the formation of seromas. Hemostatic sutures reduce the dead space between the skin flap and the underlying tissue by applying pressure to the tissue and acting as a hemostatic barrier (compression hemostasis). They are two different procedures with very different objectives, and I use both techniques on my patients. There can be a risk of flap necrosis. This depends more on the surgeon's skills to perform the dissection (detachment or, elevation of the flap) in the appropriate anatomical plane to preserve subdermal blood flow, which is responsible for maintaining vital circulation to the skin. Flap necrosis can slow the healing process and leave more visible scars. Flap necrosis depends not only on the surgeon but also on the patient's risk factors and lifestyle, such as whether they are smokers or were smokers , have high blood pressure, are diabetic, obese, or have another medical conditions. For this reason, the ideal "Healthy" candidate for this procedure should be carefully chosen.
Thank you for your question. Having both a breast augmentation and an areola reduction with a Benelli technique ( means having an incision around the areola). This area of the breast is where the implant will have the most projection, creating tension on that incision. It is very common for hypertrophic scaring to occur due to the pressure that the implant makes against the front of the breast, even with a moderate profile implant. This can spread your scar. Also, there is always a risk that once the implant settles, the position of the areolas is not ideal, which, is why, in my opinion, the best option is to do the breast augmentation first and after a few months of recovery, see how the implants have settled and then, have a second procedure to reduce the areolas to try and create as much symmetry as possible just in case you really need it. Like in all patients, there is always an asymmetry from one side of the body to the other. In your case, you have a pronounced asymmetry in the position of the base of your breasts. The base of your left breast is positioned higher than the base of the breast on the right side. Because of this, simply doing breast augmentation in the hopes of achieving symmetry will not be possible. You will still have one breast appearing higher than the other because the areola needs to be repositioned at the point of the greatest projection of the breast. The final decision on the ideal implant size depends on the analysis of all your body measurements, to create balance and contour. It would be ideal to know the relationship between the diameter of your hip and your waist to compare it with the diameter of your chest and decide the final volume and projection of your implants! Hope this helps, and I wish you the best.
Without photos, it's difficult to understand exactly what your concerns are because for example, if you tend to have a bulbous tip, or if you are of ethnic origin the skin may be thicker thus being heavier at the tip. Meaning it would be difficult to refine the tip of the nose without the support of some cartilage. Often, grafts are needed to refine or define the tip of the nose in these types of cases. Ultrasonic rhinoplasty does not have an influence and is not used to create a defined nasal tip. Ultrasonic rhinoplasty device (Piezoelectric) selectively works on the bone, so ultrasonic rhinoplasty would not affect the concerns you are having with your nasal tip. If the tip is not well defined it is because you develop scar tissue or you need more support, very likely that you will need to use grafts in different positions or perhaps an extension graft and if it is an ethnic nose or a nose that does not have great strength in its nasal cartilages it is likely that it is necessary to use rib cartilage grafts to help support and refine the tip. Nothing could stimulate more cartilage formation, perhaps still there are some residual cartilage left on your nasal tip. Hope this helps, and I wish you the best.
