Is an alar rim excision possible? (Photos)

Right nostril alar rim sits lower than the left and is more oval shaped while the left alar rim is more rounded. Can the top of the right alar rim be excised slightly to make the oval shaped nostril appear more rounded and the alar rim to be higher?

Yes, both can be done at the same time under local. It takes about 1.5hrs. The physical recovery is by next day since you are not put to sleep. Do some research to make sure you get to the surgeon who is comfortable in both of these procedures. Regards Dr. Janjua
