Red lines around breasts 2 months post BA, is this normal? I'm worried I might have an infection. WIll this go away? (Photo)

You may be in the early stages of developing stretch marks. It is difficult to say. Your best bet is to address this in person with your plastic surgeon.

You do not have anything to worry about. Your breasts look nice, and there is no sign of infection.  During the healing phase, there is increased blood supply to the operated on area, and red lines like you have are a normal appearance, and will resolve over time.

Thanks for your question. Relax, you didn't have an infection. You should always check with your surgeon. IMHO these are newly formed stretch marks which are readily visible. New stretch marks will appear has a reddish discoloration such as you are showing in the photos. See your doc! Good luck

Thank you for your pictures. Based on the pictures I don't think you have an infection. I do not know what this is it almost is like a collection of small veins or an area of mild skin irritation like an . I would see your GP as a start.

well following surgery, but the lines do look to me like stretch marks,
although as you say it is difficult to be absolutely sure. Stretch marks on the breast can look
slightly different from other areas and will generally fade with time. We usually advise applying moisturising
cream regularly to the area to encourage the scars to soften and fade.If you are concerned it is worthwhile
sending the photographs to your plastic surgeon who will be able to reply and
if necessary arranging a video consultation with your surgeon may be the most

Even over the internet very hard to tell you exactly the issue. I think this warrants a visit to the operative surgeon....

Your photos do not show anything abnormal. It is common to have some redness in stretch marks after a breast augmentation due to the increased blood flow during the healing phase. If you had an infection, you should be tender and the breasts could feel warm and you would have an increased white count on your blood test. A physical exam should rule that out. Your result appears good. 

I do not see anything in the photos that would raise suspicions for infection, but it is always best to be seen in person. Good luck.

I think seeing your GP is a reasonable first step, as I don't see any immediate cause for alarm. Your photos do not demonstrate any signs consistent with infection and if you feel well otherwise, the odds of that are very low.
