Am I a good candidate for upper eyelid surgery or eyebrow lift? (Photos)

Question

I have hooded eyes and want more eyelid space. My right eyelid sits much lower than my left and I want that lifted. Would it be best to lift both eyelids or just the right would suffice to make both eyelids even? Would I require a eyebrow lift? Thank you.

For significant improvement, hooded eyelids require surgery if there is enough skin. For nonsurgical treatments: Radiofrequency (Thermage or Venus Legacy/Viva), injectable fillers, and a Botox brow lift can help contour the eyebrows and lift the eyelid skin. You are young. I do not believe you need a brow lift. Doing an asymmetric blepharoplasty, removing more skin (no muscle) on the full upper eyelid would achieve the result you would like to see.

You have asymmetry of the eyelid tarsal crease. I would perform a Foxtail Eyelid Lift which I developed to help recontour the lateral lift and also reset the tarsal crease on the right.

It is possible to just do one eyelid to match the other under local freezing - this procedure would take around 45min to complete. However, looking at your photos I think you would probably like the look of doing a brow lift and both eyelids at the same time. The combination procedure would both help achieve symmetry and give an overall more open appearance to the eye region.

You have a symmetric upper lids with one more hooded than the other. It's possible to just do your right eyelid to make it look like your left  by removing a conservative amount of skin. Surgery or will raise the crease on that more hooded eyelid. This procedure can be performed under local anesthesia as an outpatient procedure.
