Was a 32D now am 34B. I miss the fullness of my breasts. I saw 2 surgeons and one said definitely lift+augment and 1 said no lift, go over muscle with 150-175cc. Not sure what to do, but I'm afraid of lift scars for sure. Could I augment now and lift later? Is over muscle ok?
Answer: Breast Augmentation and Mastopexy Judging by the photos, you would be a candidate for breast implants AND mastopexy. No one wants the extra incisions and scars but unfortunately that is the best option for your to achieve an nice aesthetic outcome. Without a mastopexy you would have the same shape of your breast but slightly larger. I also do not recommend placing implant in front of the muscle as the rates of capsular contracture is higher. Also over time the rippling and implant palpability becomes more prominent. Hope that helps.

Answer: Breast augmentation Hi, thank you for sharing your question. You are a great candidate for breast augmentation. You may have a small amount of glandular ptosis which can likely be correct with a dual plane approach. The proper selection of implants is best done in person after an evaluation by a board certified plastic surgeon because a number of measurements are required. You will be able to achieve your goals, likely without the need for a lift, but keep in mind an in-person exam is always better to make that assessment. I hope this helps.

Answer: Lift recommended It’s difficult to say without a side view photo however it does look like your nipples may be located below your breast fold. For this reason, a lift would be recommended. Without a lift, your implants would sit rather low on your chest.

Answer: Breast augmentation with lift From your photos you will have the best results from an augmentation with a lift. I would recommend placing the implants beneath the muscle. The benefits to this are that the muscle will help disguise the upper portion of the implant, the muscle will help to support the implant, and there is a lower risk of capsular contracture with this approach. These procedures will give you the fullness you want with a natural look. I've included a video that I hope you find helpful.

Answer: Breasts Based on your photos, you would do best with an augmentation with implants placed behind the muscle and a lift. This would give good upper breast fullness and make you much more even. If you choose to place the implants just behind the breasts, you will only have larger and still sagging breasts and still be somewhat uneven. The vertical scar would probably look much better than sagging and uneven breasts.

Answer: Focus on what you want, not what you don't want A donut lift will likely not turn out well with asymmetric and thickened periareolar scars, asymmetric nipple-areolar complex position, elongation or expansion of the areolas, pleating, and residual glandular sagging. This is what you but when you refuse a vertical scar that is the MOST likely scar to become virtually invisible, AND give you the breast shape you will love. What you think you want is not really what you want.
