My surgery is in 5 days and i’m still struggling on what size implant to go for. On my first consultation I was advised 295cc UHP under the muscle, but on my second it was 275cc UHP under the muscle. I’m only a 32A at the minute and want to be a full C/D. I’m swaying more towards 295 cause I think i’ll be disappointed with 275 and will wish I went bigger afterwards. But then I’m scared if I go for 295 and it’ll look too stuck on/fake! Any advice would be appreciated.
Answer: Breast Implants Dear mjhogannx, Thank you for your picture with the question. Based on the fact you have small breast plus an implant which will be placed behind the muscle I would recommend you to have the 295cc. But more important sit down and discuss well your goals with your PS to help you achieve them.

Answer: Breast Implant Size Thanks for your question and photos. Choosing the right implant size is one of the most important decisions to consider. Ultimately, a difference of 20cc's is not very significant—it's less than one ounce. That being said, you should carefully consider your discussion with your surgeon and make a decision based on what you believe will work best for your goals. If you have further questions about the differences in these sizes, it would be a good idea to discuss further prior to your surgery.

Answer: Implant Size Thank you for your question. Breast implant sizing is one of the biggest challenges for a patient. 295cc is a modest choice and should come close to the results you are looking for. Best of luck with your surgery.

Answer: Implant size Dear mjhoganx, breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.Daniel Barrett, MD, MHA, MS Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, Am. Answer: What would be the best size for me: 275 or 295cc UHP under the muscle? Based on the photos, either size will look great. Twenty cc's is only 4 teaspoons, so It will be difficult to tell the difference between the two implants. Good luck!
