I'm 26 with Norwood 2? I'm thinking of doing a FUE and a doctor quoted me 1200 grafts initially. I want to do a bit more because I naturally have a pretty bit forehead. At my age and condition, what is the recommended # of grafts. On one case Id like to lower my hairline than even when I was younger. On the second case, I don't want to run out of doner hairs and not even be able to get my original hairline down the line. The 2nd one is my original hair. 1st and 3rd are today.

Photos cannot determine if you would be a good candidate for surgery.  You need an examination and the doctor needs to understand possible future hair loss, your goals, and expectations.

This is a situation that requires an in-office evaluation.You may be a candidate for adding some density to the high corners (1200 seems reasonable) however I definitely would not lower the hairline.

A great first step would be an online consultation. Often you can submit photos to top hair restoration surgeons for a complimentary evaluation. This should help lead you in the right direction. Having multiple consultations with different doctors cannot hurt.

You should be evaluated by a full time hair restoration surgeon who will be able to discuss the difference with you and guide you to an appropriate plan. Best to avoid hair transplantation unless you are guided appropriately with a view to you long term hair loss and your goals for restoration.

The pictures show that you most likely have only a mature hairline which should not be transplanted at this time. Of course, there is never a substitute for a physician examination to make that determination.
