I have a high forehead with a very masculine looking hairline. I would like to have my hairline lowered a bit and rounded out to a more feminine shape. Am I a good candidate for hairline lowering / forehead reduction? I may also be interested in a brow lift in conjunction with that. Let me know your thoughts please.

Answer: Forehead reduction This is not a commonly performed procedure in my office, but the few patients that I have treated have been very happy. The forehead certainly can be reduced and the hairline brought down with a large excision of skin. The negatives of course are the long scar and changes in sensation and temporary itching as the skin heals. The surgery is relatively simple and the recovery is not difficult.
