Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photographs and degree of skin laxity, you are a candidate for a tummy tuck with liposuction, despite your high BMI, as long as you are otherwise healthy. This can be done through a low incision, all completely below the bikini line. The belly button can be designed to look natural and have no scars on the exterior. A conservative BBL can be performed at the same time for improved buttock and waist contour. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person. Best wishes and good luck. Richard G. Reish, M.D. FACS Harvard-trained plastic surgeon
Hello. Great question. In order to get the best results and lower any risks, I will suggest losing some weight. Please schedule a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon for a detailed surgical plan to achieve your desired results.
You BMI seems to be quite high and it would not be advisable to undergo elective cosmetic surgery. The risks of having various complications are high and you should ideally loose some weight before contemplating surgery.
Thank you for your question. Each surgeon will have their own protocol based on BMI as long as you are healthy and medically cleared from your medical doctor it will probably not be an issue. You do look to be a great candidate for a tummy tuck. I would recommend an in person evaluation with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon to address your questions and concerns. Best of luck to you.
Thank you for the question. The best advice you can get is afterconsultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon. Generally speaking, this decision is individualized based on your overall healthstatus and what procedure you are having among others. As you know, your BMI is high. The closer you are toyour ideal body weight, the better the results of the surgery and the lesslikelihood of perioperative complications. With a BMI of 44 you will first need to lose weight before considering a tummy tuck. Those with a BMI above 30 have a higher risk of complications such as poor wound healing, infection, and seroma formation. Being as close to possible to your ideal body weight will also allow your surgeon the opportunity to optimize your results.
Hello dear! Thanks for the question and provided information as well.Unfortunately, right now your BMI is 44 and it needs to be 33 or less, for you to be considered a good candidate for plastic surgery.l recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and the best options for you.Good luck :)
Thank you for your questionYour BMI is too high to safely proceed with those surgery. Also flying to an other country can drastically increase your surgical risk. I strongly recommend you consult with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon of your area to discuss what can safely be done. At the end yes you want a good result but also to experience a safe surgery and follow up.Best WishesDr Genevieve F. Caron, Board Certified Plastic SurgeonMontreal, Canada
Based on the photo, you are a great candidate for a full tummy tuck, Liposuction of the waist, back and thighs, and BBL. Liposuction and BBL will get rid of the excess stubborn fats on these areas and improve the contour of the body, while tummy tuck will get rid of excess skin on the abdominal area and give you a flatter stomach. Schedule an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon for an in person examination and a detailed discussion of your surgical options.
The ideal BMI for aesthetics procedures is below 34%, but the more weight you lose the better results you will get. Reaching your weight goal prior to surgery would decrease the risks of complications during and after surgery and enhance results. After you get to your goal weight, looking at your photos I might say that you´ll be a great candidate to get an entire back, waist and flanks liposuction, with BBL, and tummy tuck, this is because all the extra skin located in this areas plus your abdominal muscle needs to be repaired. Before all this, of course, you need to get a complete medical evaluation and laboratory exams to check everything is fine. Also please try to find a board certified plastic surgeon, remember that your safety, always, is going to be first.Have a great day! Dr. JPG
I'm sorry that you are unhappy with your scar placement. It does indeed look higher than typical. Once you have recovered from surgery and the tissues settle you may be able to have it lowered somewhat. I encourage you to discuss your concerns with your surgeon.
Hello. Great question. Congratulations on your procedure. Based on your images, it does not appear you have any necrosis present. Keep following your surgeon's post op instructions.
You are early in your recovery and some puckering is not unexpected. It can takes a few months for it to smooth out as tissues heal and swelling resolves. Continue to follow the advice of your plastic surgeon and report new concerns or questions.
