Hi @mooshie1995. Malar festoons can be difficult to treat. I recommend Morpheus 8. Morpheus8 is a non-surgical treatment for full body skin resurfacing, skin tightening, and fat reduction of stubborn areas. It uses minimally invasive fractional radiofrequency energy (RF) to penetrate the skin deeper than other microneedling devices, triggering the skin’s natural healing response to promote skin tightening and lifting. Best of luck, Dr. Nima
For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest reaching out to an expert for a consultation with surgical and non-surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.
Hello, and thank you for your question!I believe that you would be a great candidate for a procedure that I call Aesthetic Facial Balancing. A large part of my practice is using this procedure. What this means is evaluating a patients face and bringing the features into harmony by making adjustments with either hyaluronic acid or fat. The most important component of a fillers treatment is the practitioner administering it. I take filler and balance all features in your face from top to bottom to make them work together to 'unlock' your beauty. This procedure is not just a filler intervention augmenting the cheeks and lips, but as in overall, non surgical way to shape the face in a different way to create natural appearing results that will last for years.I hope this helps!Wishing you beautiful results,Dr. Rian Maercks M.D.
Hi from New York City!Thank you for your question. It is possible to precisely place filler in the crease between your malar festoons and the rest of your malar cheek so that the transition is not so noticeable which will help conceal the festoon. I would use a finer filler here like Restylane instead of one that absorbs a lot of water such as Juvederm. Make sure to see a very experienced injector for this issue. Best of luck!
These are a challenging problem sometimes. Fillers for the malar crease can help. Alternatively sometimes topical radiofrequency or RF microneedling treatments can help, but are unpredictable. For bags caused by edema fluid (allergies, etc.) dilute steroid injections in the deep subcutaneous plane with massage has often worked. Hope this helps!
Lips can certainly be quite swollen for a day or two after injection. However you said that this was a few days ago, in which case this is more than I would expect. I can see there is a bit of bruising as well. Was the injection done with needles or a cannula? Needles can cause a bit more...
I have been using Profhilo in my Israel satellite facility for more than two years, since it was first approved by the regulatory agency there. I have been using it with extremely gratifying results for nonsurgical face and neck rejuvenation, hands, and for the treatment of upper arm laxit...
Before treating the tear troughs, it is important to analyze skin quality as well as volume loss. Based on the pictures you have provided here, a combination of therapies would likely benefit you. We could start with a hyaluronic acid filler such as Belotero Balance for this area. I prefer thin ...
Touch ups, if needed, can be done 4 months after first injection or in a little as two weeks post injection. For facial rejuvenation I would suggest a combination approach of :1) skin care with products and PRP/microneedling2) PDT light therapy few times a month with growth factors3) laser ...
Eyelid filler injection can help reduce the prominent eye appearance but they are very limited in what result they can achieve. Surgical option is more definite and substantial but consultation is necessary to determine if you are candidate based on risks and benefits involved.
