Fillers like Belotero, Volbella, and Restylane Silk are good for improving under the eyes, but keep in mind that a combination approach will give the most improvement. My patients try to get non-surgical treatments to avoid surgery, so we use fillers, lasers, microneedling/PRP and stem cells. I suggest consulting with an expert to develop a treatment plan best suited for you. Best, Dr. Emer
Before treating the tear troughs, it is important to analyze skin quality as well as volume loss. Based on the pictures you have provided here, a combination of therapies would likely benefit you. We could start with a hyaluronic acid filler such as Belotero Balance for this area. I prefer thin fillers such as Belotero because they can fill this area well without causing the bluish tint/Tyndall effect other fillers might cause. We would typically combine this therapy with PRP/PRFM injections under the eye which can help strengthen the skin and improve the dark circles.
Thank you for your question and picture. There are many different options for filling the under eyes depending on how much down time and money you are looking to spend. An option like Juvederm Volbella is the cheapest and quickest, the hyaluronic acid simply fills in the hollows, but only lasts about 6-8 months. Nano fat grafting to the tear trough is a more permanent solution but requires a trip to the OR and is usually more expensive. You may have some pigment under your eyes as well that is hard to see in the picture, if that is the case Volbella will not improve the pigment as the the Nano fat can. I recommend seeing a board certified plastic surgeon or expert injector in person so that they can perform a physical exam and help you determine what is the best treatment for you.
Dear sarahrose231:Tesoyal Redensity ii helps soften the under eye concavity thus decreasing the shadowing effect resulting in a less fatigued and refreshed appearance. Please see an expert injector for best results. Best wishes. Dr. Chetty
Based on your photos, I believe you are a good candidate for undereye filler treatment. I would treat your tear trough using Restylane and a microcannula. I would also consider Ematrix/Sublative, microneedling, or fractional laser to improve the quality of the skin around the eyes and to help with fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes.
In my personal opinion of practicing fat grafting for the last 26 years, I believe that nothing can substitute for injecting a small amount of fat into the tear trough. Fat provides natural and near permanent results. Good luck from New York City
You would appear to be an excellent candidate for filler. The best one would be either fat or one that is heavy enough support the tissues like Juvederm Voluma or Radiesse. Do to let anyone treat the area primarily with Restylane or Juvederm Volbella, Ultra or Vollure as these are not heavy enough and have an increased incidence of swelling.
Touch ups, if needed, can be done 4 months after first injection or in a little as two weeks post injection. For facial rejuvenation I would suggest a combination approach of :1) skin care with products and PRP/microneedling2) PDT light therapy few times a month with growth factors3) laser ...
Dear chico4023,It somewhat depends on where you are placing the fillers. I would not recommend it for the tear trough area. This is already a mast cell rich area and would likely swell significantly. Good luck!
Undereye and cheek filler will help with your concerns. I don't think based on this single photo that upper eyelid filler is needed. I will defer to the the surgeons on this forum to discuss your surgical options.
