I have been using Profhilo in my Israel satellite facility for more than two years, since it was first approved by the regulatory agency there. I have been using it with extremely gratifying results for nonsurgical face and neck rejuvenation, hands, and for the treatment of upper arm laxity, and periumbilical skin laxity and crepyness. It is a unique, extremely high concentration hyaluronic acid product that is injected via a special technique, in very superficial boluses, and in a specific treatment pattern that takes only a couple of minutes each to treat the entire face, neck, etc. Usually two treatment sessions are required spaced at one month intervals between treatments to achieve a result that typically last six or more months before a maintenance treatment is required. Its purported mechanism of action is via bioremodeling, i.e. the promotion of hydration as well as increasing skin turgor, and I have personally achieved results with this product that I was not able to with ordinary hyaluronic acid skin booster products (also not available in the U.S.). In my Israel facility it is my go-to product for this purpose, and have personally used it for myself and for all appropriate family members. Although I cannot say when it will be available in the States, I can say that I am delighted that I have been able to make it available to my patients abroad. Hope this helps. Best
Profhilo is a hyaluronic acid filler that has no date yet when it might be available in the US. There are other amazing injectables available and I utilize may different types of fillers depending on the location and area being injected. Please consult an expert in cosmetic fillers for the best results. Best, Dr. Green
Profhilo is just another hyaluronic acid filler. It's not the filler but the hands of an administering practitioner that determines the outcome and the happiness of the patient. Good luck from New York City
Before treating the tear troughs, it is important to analyze skin quality as well as volume loss. Based on the pictures you have provided here, a combination of therapies would likely benefit you. We could start with a hyaluronic acid filler such as Belotero Balance for this area. I prefer thin ...
Touch ups, if needed, can be done 4 months after first injection or in a little as two weeks post injection. For facial rejuvenation I would suggest a combination approach of :1) skin care with products and PRP/microneedling2) PDT light therapy few times a month with growth factors3) laser ...
Dear chico4023,It somewhat depends on where you are placing the fillers. I would not recommend it for the tear trough area. This is already a mast cell rich area and would likely swell significantly. Good luck!
