The anatomy of the chest and breast is different from patient to patient and it is difficult to say what could be done to improve the gap. That being said breast augmentation can sometimes help however the anatomy and location of nipples are key in determining what is possible.
Thank you for your question.Cleavage is significantly improved with breast implants. Talk with your surgeon and express your desire for improved cleavage and bringing the breasts closer together. A similar patient had your same request. You can see in the "web reference" link how breast implants were able to improve her cleavage.Best of luck. Choose a board certified plastic surgeon. - Dr. Bryson Richards (Las Vegas Plastic Surgeon)
Hello and thanks. When patients desire better cleavage, I often recommend a shape breast implant or a round breast implant that's just wider than the breast width diameter. Using breast implants with a breast augmentation and/or breast lift will add more volume and improve cleavage. Of course, the bigger the implant the more cleavage that is seen, but size is always limited by the cup one wishes to achieve. Best wishes always, Dr. ALDO.
Thank you for your question. Breast augmentation is a great way to enhance your natural breast shape. The procedure will change a lot of your anatomy but it will not change the gap between your breast. Each breast has a natural "foot print" or foundation. Aggressive attempts at manipulation of the foundation carries a high chance for complication. Trying to reduce the gap between the breasts can lead to symmastia or "uniboob". The right push-up bra may address your concerns. I recommend consulting with a plastic surgeon to discuss your specific goals and concerns. Hope this helps and good luck.
The gap between your breasts is dictated by your anatomy. There is no way to change it. Implants will give you more volume, but they won't increase your "cleavage". However, there are some really great bras that can help.My best,Dr. Sheila Nazarian@drsheilanazarian on Instagram
There is no treatment to reduce the gap. But while breast implants won’t change the space between your breasts, they will give you more breast volume, which will make it easier for you to enhance your cleavage with the right bra. If a surgeon tries to create or increase cleavage by loosening the inside borders – or going beyond the natural limits – of your breasts, you could end up with symmastia, also known as a uniboob. For more information on this andsimilar topics, I recommend a plastic surgery Q&A book like "The ScoopOn Breasts: A Plastic Surgeon Busts the Myths."
Thank you for your question. Unfortunately without an in-person examination or full series of photographs it is difficult to offer treatment advice. The gap between breasts can be improved to some degree with the appropriate width and size of implant, but much of the gapping is the result of the width of the breast bone which can not be adjusted or affected with surgery. See a board certified plastic surgeon in consultation to discuss your concerns.
Igenerally counsel my patients that a cleavage can be deepened (and thereforeenhanced), but it cannot be narrowed. The space between your breasts isdetermined by your breast tissue, muscles, and breast bone. There is a limit tohow close breast implants can or should be placed in order to have an overallgood result. E.g. if they are too close and the nipples are more to theoutside, it leads to a very unnatural appearance. This is more easilydemonstrated during the course of a physical exam. I would suggest a formalconsultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon so your specific concernscan be gone over in detail, a physical exam be performed, and individualizedrecommendations be made. I hope this is helpful.
Thank you for your question. Your breast cleavage can improve with breast augmentation and implants will give you more volume. However the degree of cleavage you can get is somewhat dictated by your anatomy. I recommend you to visit aboard-certified plastic surgeon and have a full evaluation. Best of luck. Thanks for your question. The solution to this problem is often adding a breast implant to provide more fullness along the inner aspect of your breasts. The degree of cleavage you can get is somewhat dictated by your anatomy. I'd meet w/ a trusted PS near you for a consultation. Best wishes.
Thank you for your question. While you have provided a descriptive narrative with precise details, photos would be a useful adjunct. The degree of feminine curves arising after a breast augmentation depend on much more than volume and base width of the breast. The underlying chest cu...
With this question, I can only tell you what I would tell my patients. We tell them that if they're gonna sleep in any position other than on their back for the first few weeks to hug a very large and fluffy pillow to take direct pressure off of the newly placed breast implant. I would go with ...
Dear melissaxoham, Thank you for your clinical post. Unfortunately, this is not uncommon with breast augmentation. The implants stretch the sensory nerves and they start to fire spontaneously and create a hyperesthesia or hypersensitivity to light touch. Usually this is self limiting, but...
