I seem to have protruding eyelids/eyebrow bones,I have had this since I was a baby, it can be seen in baby photos.Based on photos do you think it’s possible that an upper blepharoplasty could make it less protruding? The hump that’s on the outer edge of lid and the bump on the tail of my eyebrow bothers me.I wish it was more flat. It’s more prominent in one side.I was considering bone shaving but that seems very extreme and expensive and it doesn’t seem like there are many surgeons that do it.

Answer: I have yet to meet someone who had their eyebrow bone "shaved" what was not disfigured by this surgery.
Hi there,
I think you are a good candidate for upper and lower lid blepharoplasty.
Your upper lids would do well with full upper lid blephs and lower lid could have a pinch blepharoplasty to get rid of minor lower lid skin excess without much risk.
Make sure you see a well trained plastic...
As long as the ocular rosacea is controlled, it should be acceptable to undergo a upper blepharoplasty procedure. Also would be a good idea to check with your ophthalmologist for their medical clearance.
Some of the ways to chose a plastic surgeon is to first make sure that they are certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. Then, look at the experience that they have had as well as the results and also how you feel in your consultation-have they adequately answered your questions,etc...
