Where can I get blood drawn for PRP?

It would be better if you get your blood drawn at a clinic that is performing PRP treatment, other wise they might not accept the drawn blood.

Your provider should be drawing the blood at their office.  The blood needs to be fresh to provide you with a satisfactory treatment.   You should not be getting the blood drawn elsewhere and bringing it in.

 Ideally you should have procedure and blood draw all done in same office.  We use butterfly needles on our patients for blood draws.  These needles are smaller and more comfortable than regular needles for blood draw.  Have your physician try these needles.

The blood would need to be drawn at the facility that performs the PRP since no doctor is going to trust (or should trust) someone transporting their own blood from somewhere else.  I suggest picking a different place and seeing if the staff has better luck with your blood draw.

In my in my opinion, an office that routinely performs PRP Therapy has a phlebotomist that can draw blood on the most difficult patients. We also employ a device called Accuvein. It allows us to see the veins through the skin. Find a PRP expert. Ask to see photos.PRPHairMD.com

Unfortunately you can’t have blood mailed or have you take it. You will have to find a Doctors office that can draw the blood and treat you afterwards. An experienced Dr who does procedures will always find a way to draw blood. 

You will need to have your blood drawn at the same location where you will be having the PRP treatments. If a technician is drawing the blood, perhaps you can ask the doctor to do it. 

If you've never had a problem with blood draws in the past, it's unlikely you are truly a difficult blood draw. The blood must be drawn at the same office. Use of a 19 G or 21 G butterfly works wonderfully well. They may want to warm your arm (by gently wrapping it in a blanket) and/or having you squeeze a ball. This helps a lot too.

Unfortunately I believe the only place you can get the blood drawn for the PRP procedure is at the office that is doing it. Their is always a possibility of finding someone near you who will draw the blood but it is rare that they will let you carry it to the injection site
