I had my BA 6 mo. ago and am not happy. I have a naturally bigger gap (2-3 fingers w/ bra on). I want more fullness and closer together. My BWD is 11.5 I currently have 350cc mentor mod+ silicone and wondering if 480 cc (left is smaller) and 450 cc on right will give me the look I want? ProbabIy staying with mentor mod+. I am also fairly petite at 5'4" and 110-115 lbs. and am not looking for the top heavy look. Your thoughts/opinions would be greatly appreciated.
Answer: Breast Enhancement Larger implants will get you more cleavage but will cause more issues long term. Implants were never invented to create cleavage in someone with your anatomy. I think the picture with clothes on looks great and you have a nice size implant. That being said big implants may make you more happy but with a trade off of consequences

Answer: Better cleavage Implants are designed to add volume to the breasts, not change the shape of the breasts. The gap between your breasts is a function of the width of your chest bone. If you tap on that area, you will find that it is basically a bone covered by a thin layer of skin. Because of that, I tend to discourage patients from trying to do too much in that area. Several bad things can happen. First, the pockets could connect across your chest, a condition called symmastia. This would require a second surgery to correct. Second, because there is so little coverage over the implants in the cleavage area, any little ripple or wrinkle will be more noticeable here. Finally, if the implants are centered too far towards the middle rather than behind the nipple, the nipples may point in opposite directions. I have seen many patients come through my office over the years with problems from someone trying to surgically give them more cleavage. As for issues regarding the right volume implants to use, this is something that should be discussed in person with a plastic surgeon who can examine you as well as discuss your goals. It's not like putting bumpers on Chevrolets! Each patient is an individual and must be treated as such.

Answer: BBA Your breast footprint is naturally wide. There is no good way to decrease the space between your breasts in an aesthetically pleasing way, as far as I am concerned. Larger implants will make your breasts larger, but the space between them will not improve very much. Larger implants come with more complications. See a BC PS in your area.Best,

Answer: Revision surgery An in person consultation is required to make any formal recommendations. Keep in mind the space between your breasts is partly determined by surgical technique and partly by your anatomy. If you have a wide sternal bone (chest bone), no surgeon can decrease your inter-mammary distance (space between your breasts) because this distance is determined by the width of your chest bone. Please followup with your PS to review your options for revision surgery. best wishes.
