I'm seeing a new procedure starting to be implemented called nanograft prp for hairloss. Is this safer and better than prp+acell treatment? Haven't heard about it as much as PRP treatment so curious to understand if this is safe.
I am really interested in getting a Acell + PRP procedure done for my hair. I am still early in my hair loss process so I heard this may be a suitable process for me. I Wanted to ask if this procedure is legit and safe? Or is it a money making scheme? I have heard a lot of good things on it so I am not sure. Looking for honest feedback.
I am curious to know which treatment option is better for hair loss. Is it PRP or PRP w/Acell? I've looked into both and read that the treatment is a bit more potent with acell than compared to without. It also tends to extends effectiveness and durability of the PRP. Can someone elaborate on the two options and explain why one would be better than the other?
I am looking into getting PRP + Stem Cell treatment for hair loss. I have spoken with several Doctors and there are a few options that I am looking at: PRP + ACell PRP + Amniotic stem cell PRP + Exosomes I am not completely bald but my hair is thinning and starting to look patchy. My question is not concerning the cost but rather the efficacy of the three options.
I heard that Acell can prolong PRP so you only need one (or two) treatment per year. I also hear that adding Acell might cause shock loss and some allergy? So is ACELL + PRP has the same effectiveness as a series of PRP treatments?
I had PRP/ACell treatment about 48 hours ago, with numbing injections prior to the treatment around my scalp. Most of the numbness wore off within a couple of hours, as expected, but I still feel a small amount of numbness on most of my scalp. A few specific areas, to the touch, stimulate a numb, tingling sensation in the area, as well. Is this normal? The soreness is minor and expected, but I wasn't sure if lingering numbness is expected.
I notice there are different techniques for PRP which technique is more affective for scarring and traction alopecia for African American woman. PRP Acell, or PRP micro needling or PRP. How do I go about finding an experienced doctor in the state of Michigan. Thanks
Recently, during consulting, a dermatologist mentioned that a paper in the field recently came out, addressing the exact dosage of ACell that is needed to simulate the most hair-growth. As such, he concluded that only one treatment of PRP + ACell would be enough because of this new-found data. I just wanted to confirm if this seems realistic, and if so, this one treatment without the use of minoxidil would be beneficial? Good to know before investing $2700 for the treatment.
I have thin hair since i was a kid , i never needed laser for hair removal but i had very thin hair as i grow up with dieting hair loss increased , now with optimal therapy topical minoxidil and oral vitamins result isnot satisfactory , acell and PRP any recommendation ? Non FDA approved for this use right ? Whats average cost ? On long term stopping treatment will make result revirsible to losing again hair ? Is it done without hair transplant
