I'm seeing a new procedure starting to be implemented called nanograft prp for hairloss. Is this safer and better than prp+acell treatment? Haven't heard about it as much as PRP treatment so curious to understand if this is safe.

Neograft prp is the same ... hair transplant + PRP. you should always do PRP/acell before and after hair transplant and add at home vitamins, growth factors, laser cap, and restorsea spray (see link)

I suggest a formal consultation as there are a combination of treatments that can be done to improve har loss.  Oral finesteride has very little to no side effects in the majority of people; PRP/platelet-rich plasma + stem cells like A Cell help regrow hair and slow down the thinning process; rogaine and restorsea spray should be used daily; oral viviscal helps keep nutrients high in the follices as well.  Transplantation is a last resort but works early in the aging process as well.  A formal consultation and combination treatment is needed.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Different practices name similar procedures trademarked names. Nanofat, which is stem cells taken from your fat, combined with prp is possibly more effective for loss than prp and Acell. It is more time consuming and more of a procedures, so more $$$. One popular trademark procedure is the almi procedure. Both nanofat and exosomes may be the future of non invasive hair restoration. But neither is approved by the fda, so must be used off label.

There are no good double blind studies on PRP which is the clinical golden standard for determining value so I don't recommend it at all
