How long should numbness linger after PRP/ACell with numbing injections?

I had PRP/ACell treatment about 48 hours ago, with numbing injections prior to the treatment around my scalp. Most of the numbness wore off within a couple of hours, as expected, but I still feel a small amount of numbness on most of my scalp. A few specific areas, to the touch, stimulate a numb, tingling sensation in the area, as well. Is this normal? The soreness is minor and expected, but I wasn't sure if lingering numbness is expected.

There  is no contraindication to using PRP with Accutane. However, you need to visit a hair loss expert. Your hair loss needs to be evaluated. It could be related to the Accutane or another etiology. Good luck.Jeff Rapaport MD FAADRealself All-star
