This woman had a history of lumpectomy and radiation treatment for breast cancer, resulting in significant breast mismatch and tightness and fibrosis of the treated breast. She underwent 2 cycles of fat grafting to the prior surgical site, leading to softening of the tissue and scar. It was the donor site for the fat transferred to the breast.

The fat transfer was done to the patient's left breast (which appears on the right side when you're viewing the photos), on the upper aspect of the breast. The patient is 42 year old needing breast cancer reconstruction.

This patient had breast cancer and had initial breast reconstruction, but suffered from rippling on the upper portion of her breasts along with some unevenness. The patient underwent fat grafting with approximately 70cc of fat injected into each of the breasts.

This patient consulted with Dr. Leveque after having a partial mastectomy with radiation on her left breast. Because she had ample breast volume after the partial mastectomy, Dr. Leveque performed a mastopexy, lifting both breasts and creating symmetry and proportion between the breasts. Later, she had fat transfer to both breasts to add volume and fullness. She had a beautiful outcome and is very pleased with her result from the surgeries.

Breast Reconstruction

This patient underwent breast reconstruction with Dr. Jocelyn Leveque. After chemotherapy, she proceeded with a bilateral mastectomy and immediate reconstruction with ADM (acellular dermal matrix) placement and tissue expanders. This procedure includes stages with the 1st stage being ADM placement and tissue expander then a subsequent 2nd stage surgery with implant placement and fat transfer.She is very happy with her result. Individual results may vary.
