This patient had a mole on her chin for as long as she could remember. Because it had a deeper component, her dermatologist recommended it be excised (cut out) by a facial plastic surgeon. At 4 months out the area is slightly pink as it continues to heal, but there is no contour irregularity such as an elevation or depression in the skin.
