Couldn't be happier with the results of my lower lid blepharoplasty. Dr Wali and his staff, including surgical team, are amazing. I felt supported throughout the entire process. Dr truly cares about his patients and provides excellent pre and post op support. I'm not from the SoCal area but traveled a bit to have my procedure done by him. This was a revision from several years ago that I was never really happy with. I'm only about 6 weeks post op but am already extremely happy with my results. Look forward to seeing the progression of healing in the next 6 months! Thanks Dr Wali and staff.
I finally got my tummy tuck, muscle repair and mons lift. I am beyond happy! I highly recommend Dev Wali and his team. It’s a scary major surgery but well worth it. I’m about 6-7 weeks post op and I’m so excited for final results. It took me about a month to walk up right but I feel almost back normal. The pics attached are the night before surgery (50 pound weight loss) and 6 weeks post op. Updated on 21 Mar 2024: Let me start off by saying Wali and his staff are amazing and friendly. But… am I happy with results, yes and no. I had a tummy tuck with muscle repair and a mons lift. I needed it because I had children, got fat, lost weight and had a hanging belly. I didn’t expect results to be perfect but I’m not exactly 100% happy with the wrinkles and dog ear at the end of my incisions, little fat bulges in front of my hip bones, as well as the left side of my vagina has a bulge that can be seen when I wear pants. Yes I may look ok when I have clothes on, but I want to feel sexy when my clothes are off. I was wearing long shirts before the surgery to hide my belly and I’m wearing long shirts now to hide the bulge on one side of my vagina. The scars don’t bother me, but the wrinkles, dog ear and vaginal bulge bother me. The dr said I look fine and most vaginas are uneven. I did ask about revision and was told it was not necessary. It may not be necessary, but we get cosmetic procedures to feel better about ourselves. Instead of feeling sexy naked, I don’t want to take my panties off when I’m with my partner. I don’t want to lay there naked and I don’t want his hands on my hips where the dog ear is. It feels gross and raised when I lay on my side. Would I do the procedure again, yes I would because overall the hanging belly is gone and with panties on I feel ok. The top looks good but the bottom part makes me feel insecure. But now I need to find another dr who will be willing to fix what makes me feel insecure. He has done beautiful work for many others, I just don’t currently feel like one of them. Pics are attached for your own judgement.
Dr. Wali is just amazing. He is professional, patient and direct. I felt complete trust in his hands literally and the results are just outstanding. I cry everytime I look in the mirror. I lost nearly 150 lbs over a period of 6 years and spent the last 4 training endurance sports (ironman) and crossfit. My body is very strong but it didn't look the way I felt. Dr. Wali got that immediately and the results far exceeded any expectation I had for myself and my own hardworking, and albeit, a surgeons-- mostly due to my own self doubt. Anyway, see for yourself.
Yesterday I had a capsulectomy and implant exchange from 400ccs to 550ccs. Since then I've breastfed 2 kids and the left got hard and painful. My husband was against me having a lift and I didn't want one because we both prefer natural looking matronly breasts. After speaking with 6 plastic surgeons, Dr. Dev Wali was willing to give me what I want. He works on a lot of cancer patients so I figured my case would be simple. He suggested 500cc hp implant and I always thought hp was for the fake look. We kept going back and forth but he wouldn't budge. I did my research and hp implants are good for women with deflated breasts that lost bottom fullness like mine. On the day of surgery he said he brought 550hp implants to the hospital. I'm glad he brought the bigger ones. Surgery went great and I had no pain whatsoever. I was nauseous but that's it. I thought I would have pain when I woke up this morning but nothing. The only thing is the drains make me feel uncomfortable. They said I could get them out next week. Definitely coming back to him for my tummy tuck! Updated on 30 Oct 2020: At 6 weeks post op I had some watery blood starting to come out of the incision. Then a few days later it started to bleed. I can’t get a hold of anyone in the office. I emailed the day before, called, and texted. I have a feeling I need to go on antibiotics but this doctor’s office is unresponsive.
I recently had a tummy tuck done by Dr. Wali. I am one week post op and already in love with the results. He and his staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They make you feel comfortable from the beginning of this journey. I have always been able to contact his staff whenever I had a question. At all my appointments Dr Wali answered all my questions thoroughly and made me feel very comfortable. His work is AMAZING. I love my results and I’m healing very comfortably. Thank you Dr. Wali and staff. A special thank you to Crysta for always getting back to me promptly and with such an amazing attitude.
I have always had a pooch that I needed to get rid of. I was very good at hiding it but after years of people asking me how far along I was, I was ready to get rid of it for good. I work out, eat very clean and healthy, but ever since I had my daughter 11 years ago, I could never get rid of it. I got my bbl June 2017 and it was a rough recovery, so it took me a while to get prepared mentally for the TT. After meeting with Dr. Wali’s office I was ready to move forward and book my surgery! Updated on 5 Apr 2018: Before....ew. I like my butt and the lipo on my flanks from the bbl but I can’t wait to get rid of this pooch! Updated on 13 Apr 2018: Yesterday I had my pre op with Dr Wali and he is so nice and comforting! I was so pleased when I took out all the notes on my phone and started asking questions left and right and he was so calm and answered all my questions one by one. Not once did I feel rushed. I told him exactly how I want my scar, since I wear high rise bikinis, I don’t want it too low- and he was happy to look at pictures and take pictures himself of me in my thong so he knows exactly how to place the scar. He even said to bring them with me on surgery day so that he can mark me to perfectly hide under the straps. After meeting with I’m and Chrysta I feel so much better and I am ready to do this! I honestly can say I have never say I have felt this way in a doctors office! Can’t wait, only 5 more days!! Full balance is paid and all of my post op supplies are purchased! Updated on 19 Apr 2018: Hey guys! I’m out Day one from surgery and omg, I thought it would be so much worse than this! After the lipo and bbl I was living in fear of the tt because most girls said it’s worse! But no way. This is easy compared to all that lipo. It feels like I’m just wearing the tightest girdle I could find.. more uncomfortable than painful. What is painful is coughing or accidentally flexing your ab muscles! I only take one norco every six hours so far and I feel fine. Slept through the night last night in my recliner. Went to bed at 1am after taking my last pain pill and woke up about 6, which is normal for me. I am taking miralax, gas x, stool softener and ceflex daily. My pain meds every 6 hours and my man has been a champ with emptying my drains every 6 hours too. Only one of my drains seems to be draining though. Honestly, I thought I would sleep all day yesterday, like with my bbl- but nope I was wide awake. Called and texted all my girls and watched 3 movies lol. Did stay in my chair most of the day though. Only bad part was when I tried to sit down in my recliner I wasn’t far enough back and I flexed my ab muscles—ouch! I would advise to put a pillow behind your back and under your knees even in the recliner. It feels much comfier. My hunny also brought me a really soft chenille blanket and big water bottle to drink lots of water out of. I go to my post op appt today at 11:30 to see dr wali, so hopefully he will take my binder off and let me see! I’ll try to sneak a pic for you guys! I have only seen myself in the binder and I am soooo flat!!! Updated on 19 Apr 2018: Was able to get one pic at my post op appt today! Omg I love it! I was so scared to look, because I was afraid it would be so ugly because it’s only been one day, but I was pleasantly surprised! Even my belly button looks so cute! Dr Wali did his thing!!! I will check back in soon with more pics when my swelling goes down a bit. Updated on 21 Apr 2018: Everything is tight! I took myself off the norco and now just taking Tylenol every 6 hours. I’m not in much pain, just uncomfortable. I have 2 drains, one in each hip. I see the doctor next Thursday for follow up and he said I may get one drain out. Can’t wait! Eating light things like soup broth, yogurt with organic fruit and prunes to help move the bowels. Still haven’t gone #2... I’m taking miralax and probiotics daily, trying to stay regular and light. So far I am able to walk around, a little hunched over, but I feel good today. Much better than yesterday or the day before. I like this isavela 2 way binder, very comfy, doesn’t fold as much as the 3 way binder. Updated on 22 Apr 2018: Yayyyy!! I pooed last night LOL! I’m so happy! With the complications I had last time with the bbl, please start the miralax as soon as you have the surgery- you will thank me later! It came out so easy! I know it’s not something we like to talk about, but RS is a safe place for us to be real about our surgeries and last time I had a horrific time with constipation, so this was a relief to not even be strained a bit. I uploaded a progress pic so you can see my befores (about a year ago before my bbl, after my bbl and 1 day after the tummy tuck). It really shows how far I came! Let me know if you have any questions for me... Everything is going great with this surgery. I’ve been off the pain meds for 2 days (which I think also helped me go #2 btw) and I’m not even in that much pain. I take a 500mg extra strength Tylenol every 6 hours when I empty my drain. Down to draining only 15cc’s out of the one drain! So hopefully he will take them both out soon! I was so scared to have this surgery because a lot of women told me this is worse than the bbl, but no way for me. It has honestly been so much easier. Just make sure you have someone by your side for the first couple days and you will be fine! Updated on 30 Apr 2018: I am feeling much better. Able to move around more. Taking showers is easier. I had a bad reaction to the tape/bandaids and had blisters form around the drain hole sites and on my stomach! That was scary. So advice I have to offer is take any tape off in the shower. Your skin will be paper thin after surgery- pulled super tight so it is sensitive to anything foreign on it. My doctor said half of people have it happen to them and half don’t. So I just happened to be unlucky in that part. Since then I don’t put bandaids over my bb or drain holes. I just add neosporin and use a gauze pad placed over it. It doesn’t move because my camy tank goes over it & then my binder goes over that. So the layering pieces helps to keep things tight and in place, but there’s no tape/bandaids anymore. I noticed this is actually helping things heal a lot quicker because having it air dry naturally helps the healing process. I was finally able to shave my legs in the shower yesterday- which was nice! My hubby helped me put shaving lotion on and I went slowly. The best thing you can do is buy yourself a shower chair!!! My first shower was hell because I tried to stand through it.. but it is so hard to stand that long and wash yourself. Since then he went out and ought me a little shower bench that I sit on while he washes my hair and that’s how I was able to shave my legs! It’s awesome! Another tip is that I use a lanyard in the shower to clip my drains up to so that I have both hands free and they are out of the way. It’s one of those lanyards for a badge I got at a convention a while ago. I just removed the badge and clipped my drains on and voila! Hands-free shower! I’m able to eat more- but I really don’t eat that much. Mostly fruit and eggs in the morning, soup for lunch and veggies and rice or veggies and beans for dinner. I drink tea and a lot of water. Sometimes pineapple juice. Oh and I know I probably shouldn’t have - but my hubby gave me a gift yesterday! Using his hands and omg it was so nice to be touched- but jeez I did not realize how many ab muscles we use to climax! It felt so good but hurt at the same time lol guess I need to take it slow on that part and sex will be out of the question for a while. That’s going to be hard because with my new body I can’t stop thinking about it! Anyways...need to take a nap. I’m exhausted- my sleep schedule is out of wack I’m waking up at 4am and will be on my phone until 6am.. and then get up to feed my dogs around 7am and see my daughter off to school- so by 9:30am I’m usually ready to go back to bed. Updated on 2 May 2018: Update- my doctor said not to use neosporin, just iodine on the scar and drain holes. FYI Updated on 5 May 2018: I got 1 drain out when I went to see my doctor on Thursday. It did not hurt at all! I was so scared! But she cut the stitch out and then said breathe in and by the time I breathed out it was out! It felt like a wiggly worm just going through my body lol. I am still outputting about 30ccs in 24 hours out of the other drain so he kept that one in possibly until next Thursday when I see him again. He also said I didn’t need to cover my scar with gauze, but I still like to because I feel like it gives me protection from the binder rubbing. Even with wearing a little camy under it hurts if I don’t have any cushion on it. Some great news for me is My husband and I were asked to sit on a panel of filmmakers a Paramount Studios on June 1st, where I will be the only female on the panel to represent for women in film- but it will be a lonnngggg day because we don’t speak until 8pm, so I hope I will be ok to walk until then. Updated on 17 May 2018: Some things to know: -You will most likely get itchy or have a reaction to tape if you have sensitive skin like me. So only take off bandages in the shower and use a&d on your skin after removed to avoid dry and itchy skin. -Things will start to change on your body rapidly so don’t buy too much supplies because you won’t need it for too long. The items I used daily were: -Face and body organic all natural soap, no dye, no fragrance (for showering) -shower seat -lanyard from a conference, I clipped my drains to this and wore around my neck when I showered so I could use both hands -iodine applied with cotton balls (for healing wounds) -a&d -gauze squares/tape (I didn’t apply the tape to skin, I just taped the squares together across my scar and then used my tank top to hold the gauze in place, then added my binder) -tank tops (5 or more so you don’t have to do laundry all the time) -soup and juices for the first couple of days... it will be hard to eat at first. Drink lots of water and stay hydrated. -Tylenol for after the first couple days/week of norco -miralax for the first 7 days/priobiotic -journal to write med times and drain cc’s -recliner to sit and sleep in (it’s still hard for me to walk straight or lay straight for too long) Hope this helps you guys get ready! Let me know if you have any questions! Updated on 17 May 2018: Post op pics! Things keep getting better. Just be patient and wear your garment tight! The marks are from wearing the binder and I am kind of twisting to take the photo to be able to see what I was taking lol so fear not, my belly button is center! It just looks a little bit off because my body was shifted! Will follow up when nelly button is fully healed and stitches come out next week on the 24th. Updated on 29 May 2018: Finally all stitches are gone now! Had the belly button stitches removed so I am now stitch free. With time things continue to heal. I went on my first long walk the other day and I’m now sleeping in my bed every night. My doc said not to stretch or walk too hard, he doesn’t want me to pull a stitch, so I’m taking it easy until I see him again in 3 weeks. I’m starting to see some muscle definition and I love it! Updated on 30 May 2018: Almost 1 year post bbl! Waist is tiny and my bum is round :) can’t wait my tummy is healed so I can work it all out and tighten up! Updated on 16 Jun 2018: Still super tight and scar feels lumpy. Very stiff and feel slight pains but for the most part getting back to normal. Updated on 30 Jul 2018: Updated on 7 Aug 2018: Everything is getting better. Saw dr wali and took my 3 month pics so hopefully can show you guys my official before and afters. I am soo happy I did this. I never thought I could have this body and I would highly recommend dr wali and his staff! They made me feel at home throughout this entire process and I feel like I found them for a reason! I got clearance to start to walk and light cardio with my binder on. So I am going to try and work these arms and legs out to match my abs! Good luck to all of yo ladies xoxo if you go to dr wali for a consult let him know Alyse sent you! Updated on 26 Oct 2018: Some of you are asking how my scar looks, so I thought I would include an update with pics. It is soooo tiny, paper thin and light... it honestly looks better in person than it photographs. It looks more red than I feel it actually is in the pics. It looks white on my skin. Also- this is with no tan... so I look super pale right now. And it completely blends in. Updated on 26 Oct 2018: ???????????????? Dr Wali did that! Updated on 7 Mar 2019: We’ll update you guys soon with 10 months pics soon- just been so busy! I can’t believe it’s almost been a year!! Thinking about it now I wish I would’ve done this YEARS ago! I love my results. Doctor wali is the best doctor. I’m even bringing my mom in to him for a liquid face lift and for me some kybella before the summer! I need this jawline to be snatched before summer to match my beautiful body! Updated on 25 Jul 2019: Where did the time go! I am so happy. I wish I did this sooner. I don’t have an regrets and Dr Wali was phenomenal. I can’t even remember that before body. My body now is so beautiful and I am finally comfortable in my own skin. Here is the one year comparison photo Dr. Wali’s office. And I have been working out for the last two weeks daily and doing spin class two times a week to get ready for my wedding in a month! So I feel super tight recently. The video was just taken yesterday (1 year and 3 months out). Thank you Dr Wali and staff! You guys are all amazing! Let them know Alyse from realself refereed you if you are thinking of getting a tt like me and I know they will take great care of you!
I decided to remove my implants after injuring my shoulder. The 25 year old implants were heavy and saggy. Before the injury, I had never considered that removing them, and not replacing them was an option. It's been a month since the removal, which was surprisingly no big deal. I went in and was released from the hospital 4 hours later. I had removal plus en bloc, in which the capsule (that was leaking silicone) was completely removed. The worst part was having the drains for a week. But they came out (10 seconds of pain) and the healing has begun! I am SO happy they are no longer part of me. It's hard to describe how much better I feel, physically and emotionally. If I had known what I know now, I would have removed them years ago. Updated on 28 Mar 2018: Still Super happy the heavy implants are gone. I could have a lift, but all the scarring seems daunting. I don’t need a lift- boobs are boobs and mine don’t look terrible- but..., I keep thinking about the cute styles of clothes that would be easier to wear without an old lady “support” bra lol. I’m still thinking about it, but my boobs look natural and nice as they are.
I have another review on here from dermarolling at home for stretch marks, I told myself if I was still unhappy about it in a year I would try carboxytherapy. Well here I am 2 years later and I couldn't be happier. I had the 1st session done on July 20 and a second one 5 days later. The nurse performing it named Linnel was very informative and professional. She told me she's been doing it for over 10 years and have seen amazing results. Her before and after pictures are amazing as well. The whole point of carboxytherapy she explained to me was that we're trying to trick the body into making more collegen by injecting co2 into the areas that have poor circulation (e.g stretchmarks, scars, etc). However she did say it takes up to about 21 days later to see the full results because that's how long it takes for collegen to form. I'm very bad at explaining things sorry. But just after 2 sessions I can tell my little wrinkley, pouch on the bottom of my stomach when I bend over and sit is starting to improve so much. I can't wait to get more sessions done.
I’ve been wanting breast implants since I was about 18 years old but never got the courage to go through with it until now and I’m 35 years old. I started out as a large A cup and then went up to a regular B cup after having kids. While breastfeeding I would go up to a C cup and then back down again once I was done, so I lost a lot of volume. After my husband and I decided we were done having children I knew that I wanted to seriously consider breast augmentation and made an appointment for a consultation with Dr. Wali on March 16th. Prior to booking the appointment I researched offices, read lots of reviews, asked for recommendations, and ultimately decided he was the best choice. I have to agree with what I heard about Dr. Wali because I was really impressed with him and his staff. When I entered the office I was greeted with smiles from the front desk staff and they were very welcoming. This was important to me because going to a consultation for a cosmetic procedure made me kind of nervous. I wasn’t waiting very long before I was called by one of the nurses to head back into an exam room. When Dr. Wali came into the room I could tell right from the start that he is passionate about what he does and takes great pride in his work. He made me feel comfortable during the consultation and I felt that he truly listened to what I wanted and could produce the type of results I expected. After listening to me he made sure to take lots of measurements and ultimately suggested an implant size of 350cc. One of the office staff brought back a sizing bra and 350cc implants for me to try on. I agreed with the size Dr. Wali suggested and decided to book the surgery for 4 weeks later! At my pre-op appointment 2 weeks later, Dr. Wali asked me to show him pictures of the results I expected and we agreed to go with a slightly larger implant size of 365cc and I chose to go with the cohesive gel silicone option, as opposed to saline. I had my surgery on April 12th and couldn’t be happier! Dr. Wali is an absolute pro at what he does and I have zero complaints with the entire process so far. I’m barely a week post-surgery so I obviously still have a few weeks to go before I’ll see what the final results are, but I’m confident in what I see so far. I also have to mention that each time I’ve visited his office they are playing the best music in the waiting room, so that’s a plus!
As a breast cancer survivor who had a double mastectomy, I am very pleased to have gone through my breast reconstruction journey with Dr. Wali. From the first consultation visit and throughout my journey, Dr. Wali took the time to listen to all my concerns. He truly cares about his patients. You feel like family. He is straightforward about each procedure explaining in detail what he is going to do. Everyone's circumstances are different but he is honest about what he can do for your particular situation and what he feels is the best way to achieve it. He is patient and takes the time to listen and answer all your questions. He is personable, compassionate, meticulous and has wonderful bedside manners. Before each surgery, Dr. Wali would put my husband and myself at ease taking the time to again explain the procedure and how long it would take. Dr. Wali has a wonderful office staff. The girls always make you feel welcomed. They are extremely helpful, courteous and also compassionate. It is apparent Dr. Wali loves what he does. He is extremely passionate about creating a natural look. My journey has not been a quick one. Over two years and 4 procedures later, I am finally at the end of the journey and I have to say I am 100% HAPPY with the outcome. My new breasts look very natural. I highly recommend Dr. Wali for breast reconstruction. I cannot thank Dr. Wali enough for all he has done for me. THANK YOU!
Hello VagNik and thank you for your question.I instruct my mole removal patients to keep the surgical site covered for up to 12 weeks post-op. Keeping the area from sun exposure will prevent pigmentation of a healing scar and ultimately result in the least visible outcome. The size and shape of the scar will depend on the technique used to remove the mole. Different surgeons have different techniques so it would be best to follow up with your surgeon for the answers to those questions. Good luck!
Hello MecheMelara,Thank you for your question and photo. I believe that you could achieve a great scar result with surgical excision. Of course, an in-person consultation is needed to be sure. Please visit my mole removal web gallery to view scar results from surgical excision.Good luck!
Thank you for your question and photos. It is typically recommended that you consult with 3 different board certified plastic surgeons before making your decision. I would highly recommend at least one more for you if you aren't feeling confident in the first doctors recommendation. It appears to me that you are a good candidate for a full tummy tuck with muscle repair. I do not believe that a mini-tummy tuck will yield optimal results in your case; however, a physical examination is needed to be sure.Good luck!
Thank you for your question and photos.Congratulations on your weight loss! You appear to be a good candidate for a tummy tuck to repair the diastasis recti and stretched skin caused by your pregnancies. I believe you could achieve a perky, round breast with a lift alone, based on the good amount of natural tissue that you appear to have. An implant may also be an option if that's what you would prefer. A consultation and examination is needed to be sure that these are the best options for you. Good luck!
Thank you for your question. It is best to do these procedures separately. Most of the risk associated with surgery is due to the amount of time spent under general anesthesia. It is much safer to do (3) three-hour procedures than it is to do (1) nine-hour procedure. Combining them means that your surgeon is likely going to be going faster than they normally would to avoid keeping you under for longer. Separating them allows your surgeon more time spent on each individual procedure which will result in the best outcome possible.Good luck!
