This woman presented with 2 primary concerns. Her first concern was in regards to her lack of profile and the excess tissue and fullness under her chin. Her second concern was regarding the chronic under eye bags that were persistent since her mid-30's.We decided together to perform a lower facelift and necklift along with placement of a silicone chin implant and a lower blepharoplasty to remove the eye bags. All procedures were performed in our Center under local anesthesia and oral sedation with xanax. No general anesthesia or IV anesthesia was utilized.Her results are significant with major improvement in her profile and facial harmony/balance overall. Her eyebags were successfully removed creating for her a more awake and refreshed appearance.Total procedure time was slightly over 3 hours. Most of her sutures were removed on day 6. She returned to both work and exercise 12 days after her procedures.

Another beautiful example of my Define lift. You can see the natural elevation of her brows giving her some upper eyelid show without needing a blepharoplasty. Her jawline and her cheeks are elevated due to my extended deep facelift, as well as judicious fat grafting to the midface. Her neck is clean and crisp. This is due to my deep neck lift which I adjusted the glands to tighten the muscles of the platysma, she is in her late 40s or early 50s and this is the perfect time for an intervention because her collagen and elastin are still good. This female patient presented with the main concern of what she described as turkey neck (similar to what her mother had in her 50's). She did not care for the significant excess skin, fat, and overall looseness under her chin. She had tried numerous creams and non-surgical treatments, such as radiofrequency, with no significant results.During initial consultation it was determined that she had significant laxity of her neck, but also of her lower face and jawline tissue. We decided to perform a lower facelift and necklift under local anesthesia in our Center with the assistance of oral sedation with valium (No general or IV anesthesia necessary). Her procedure time was approximately one hour and 50 minutes.Her results demonstrate major improvement in her neckline, as well as a sharpened and more visible jawline. All sutures were removed by day 12, and was thus able to return to both work and her full physical activities.

We rolled out the red carpet for this lovely patient! As we age, our skin loses its fight with gravity and drooping can impact us in different areas, so its not a one-size-fits-all packaging. For this patient, her aging was focused down the center of her face rather than down the jowls, which tends to be most common in women.
