Age 57, 3 days after neck lift for no jawline and big jowls - glad I did it!

Today is day 4 after my procedure. I have been on Tylenol for 3 days and it is handling the discomfort. I am actually surprised at how little real pain there was. My ears are definitely the worst area and now everything is itchy and tight but I am healing faster than I had expected. I am sleeping elevated and taking it easy and following instructions on wound care. I cheated and showered early but kept the water away from my head. Stitches come out in 3 days, looking forward to that. I’m actually going to a small family gathering with just my kids and grandkids this afternoon. I feel well enough for that. Overall I had myself prepared for feeling worse than I do so I am quite pleased to be up and around. Posting pics because it helped me so much during my research to see the real thing. Happy to answer questions for those considering. It’s a big decision and frankly, scary. The reviews with photos helped me prepare myself and my husband. Hoping these help someone who is considering.

I feel 40 but my face was definitely 57. No jawline, big jowls and I looked old and tired. Don't know about you but people were always asking if I was tired, even when I wasn't. If things kept on track the way they were going my chin would be laying on top my chest in no time! With the encouragement from my daughter I was off for a consult with a PS she found. It was less pain than I anticipated and I feel much better than I thought I would. My stiches come out next week and then I am heading back to work.
