6 months ago I received 1 vial of Juvederm that was spread around my face (a little in the nasolabial folds, a little in the cheeks and a little in the tear trough area). My tear trough looks underfilled. But, also on my left I have a subtle raised area below the trough. I will be going to a doctor that specializes in under eye fillers and am wondering if this is something he can work around- adding more filler in strategic locations. Or will I need to get the filler dissolved & start over?
Two days ago I woke up with a swelling and my right upper lip seemed hard and was sore to the touch. I massaged it and it went away in about 30 mins. The next I woke up and my lower lip had this same swollen hard feeling... the swelling went down to a point where I almost didn't feel it unless I touched something against my lips. Is this an infection ? The lips are a little red but I don't see anything else
I have been on two antibiotics for 4 weeks now finished I also had hylauronidaise done once It is about 80% gone but still have some noticeable Bumps ... should I take steroids ? Or is there laser like BBL recommended microneedling ?
its been 6 months. The doctor provided it says it is an allergic reaction. Another doctor says its not injected deep enough. Will it be like this forever? Can it be fixed. The doctor who injected it, does not answer my requests.
Got Juvederm injections in Sep 2017. Waited approx 4 weeks after initial injection to have doc fix unevenness. Doc injected hyaluronidase and then more Juvederm a week later to fix. 6+ months later lips still not even, smile is crooked. Im self conscious wearing lipstick or smiling in photos. Not sure how to fix. Doc refuses to completely dissolve says hyaluronidase is risky and Im too picky - thinks lips are fine. Help! Suggestions for a fix are needed.
got lips done 6Mths ago N this didn't happen, Went back to see my Doc. this time to get them done when she got to my bottom middle hurt really bad, I took the pain. That night my lip got big and it hurt so bad! Told her the next day and she made me come in 3 days out and she put me on meds because I ended up having a breakout under my lip and that's never happen before. Just want to know if a blood vessel was hit?, is it a bad thing? My bottom still after 5days out still feels hard/numb middle
I had juviderm filler injected in my cheeks about 6 months ago. In recent weeks it seems the filler has migrated lower to my jaw area. my jawline and neck now appear swollen, and the original injection site looks like it did before the fillers were placed. Its very strange and uncomfortable! Can anything be done to correct this problem, or do I just have to wait until the product is absorbed? Is this dangerous?
I've had a small bruise on my lip since juvederm injections for over 6 months. I did not go back to see the practitioner because I had it done far from where I live, but I am concerned it will never go away, or that she hit a blood vessel or something she shouldn't have. The bruise gets darker when I drink alcohol or work out. If you look closely, some of the thin veins on that same side of my lip appear purple as well. What is this and what can I do about it?
Where does the filler dissolve too once it wears off? Does it stay somewhere in the face making your face look fat or does it dissolve into your blood and then flushes away?
