Lumps on jawline - are these from filler and will they go away on their own?

I had juvederm fillers around my mouth and chin 6 months ago and have now developed a line of lumps along my jawline. Are these from the filler and will they go away on their own?

There can be some swelling and/or lumps after lip injections which can last 1 to 2 weeks. You can apply firm pressure between two fingers on the lips for a few days, for 5 minutes at a time, in order to help decrease swelling and even out the lumps. If you're unhappy with your final results, you can have the filler dissolved with hyaluronidase and try a different technique next time. Best, Dr. Emer​​

An evaluation is necessary to determine if the lumps that concern you are filler.  Typically lumps would not develop 6 months after Juvederm treatment.  I encourage you to return to your injector for an assessment if they do not resolve on their own.  If they are filler, they can be dissolved with hyaluronidase.
