5 out of 5 stars Mini Tummy Tuck
Before seeing Dr. Spencer I had heard that he was brisk and his bedside manner a bit lacking, but I have no complaints about either, although during my first visit I was in and out in record time for a skin cancer screening and scheduling of a squamous mass removal. My only complaints would be that he didn't point out things that I would notice later as issues, leading me to have concerns about my liposuction sites (one side was more irritated and slower to heal because he did more work from one side) and the healing of my abdominoplasty incision, which had not closed well on one side and needed Duoderm for a week or so, but since he didn't tell me when he took staples out and I freaked when I saw what looked like a splitting incision. His cost quote covered everything, including off site lab work and support garments, someone from the office always got back to me quickly if I had a question (I was given the wrong garment during a follow up and they called and arranged for an exchange with a friend picking it up for me). Prescriptions are provided in advance so you can get them all filled and I felt like all my questions were answered in advance. He also provides his cell phone number to surgical patients and personally calls after surgery to see how you are doing, which I thought was awesome. I did have to call him as a result of not knowing that the skin wasn't together on my incision, and he was preparing to take the stage at a concert and called me back to calm my fears. If I need anything else (need loosely defined) I know where I'll go.
