Hi there. I got chin liposuction and noticed these lines pretty quickly. I was hopeful they would go away with daily massages and wearing my compression garment but they seem to have only gotten worse. Im not even sure what they are. Its two hard lines that star from the incision and run halfway down my neck. They are very tight, it hurts to lift my neck up.
I had a chin liposuction under local anesthesia it didnt take long at all. No pain in where the incision sites are but there is an intensive amount of pain in my teeth and when chewing. The pain in my teeth increased when laying down and sleeping as well. No actual pain within the incision only bruising and soreness. What could that be? (I have a history of TMJ, and injected botox before to treat TMJ Pain)
Hello,I'm getting chin lipo under local anesthesia, opted for no additionalpain relief such as a pain killer or anxiety meds. I've read some people have terrible pain during the numbing process. Can someone please explain the pain level during this. also, is it possible to get a fat embolism during this procedure?
It's been 10 days and I don't seem to see much of a difference. The strap was taken off yesterday and the skin feels quite hard but it looks as if there's still a lot of fat. Could it just be swelling and I'm just over worrying or does it actually seem like not much was removed. The photo with the beard is the one after liposuction as I haven't shaved yet and it does feel painful to shave in that area. Thanks in advance for any answers.
It went very smooth at night 10 PM I had extreme pain like on scale it was 10 I took 2 oxycodone. Now its 5 am in the morning I am having extreme pain again is it normal ? Should I take 2 oxycodone again? Plus when this saver pain goes away. I also feel soar throat and bit of headache
7 days ago I had UAL under the chin, General anesthesia. I have jaw pain along mandible, unable to open my mouth fully (like a big yawn), some numbness on my tongue (hard to spit), chin and lower lip. Unable to depress my bottom lip to smile - problem is bilateral. My surgeon says she never had this happen and that her colleague surgeon says its neuropraxia and should resolve (colleague didnt see me). Should I meet with an ENT as my next step? Super worried its permanent...please help.
Please help me understand what these deep horizontal creases are. They formed 1 week after surgery and these pics are from 2 weeks post op. They are not from compression as my doc only had me cover my neck for 3 days. My neck is very stiff and still painful in areas. Are these permanent?
I read all the responses that doctors provided me from real self? They say that kybella I might need 2-3 treatments, and the downtime would be 7-14 days after the treatment? I might not want to go out for those days during the 7-14 days of downtime? Also, the doctor that told me that chin liposuction is the gold standard, but which would be more painful and which will have more downtime - (kybella or chin liposuction) . Some doctors told me after chin lipo I will have to wear a wrap under my neck?
