7 days ago I had UAL under the chin, General anesthesia. I have jaw pain along mandible, unable to open my mouth fully (like a big yawn), some numbness on my tongue (hard to spit), chin and lower lip. Unable to depress my bottom lip to smile - problem is bilateral. My surgeon says she never had this happen and that her colleague surgeon says it’s neuropraxia and should resolve (colleague didn’t see me). Should I meet with an ENT as my next step? Super worried it’s permanent...please help.
