Dr. say's it's floaters, however it's quite large and interferes with my sight. I can feel it as I move my eye, they say that's dry eye. I have taken several pictures that show the obstruction at different locations as I move my eye. Here are a few.
I started feeling the symptoms of a UTI today 4/28. I will go see a doctor tomorrow to have a urine test. If I am prescripted an antibiotic will it affect me having general anesthesia on Wednesday?
I still have a film coating over my left eye it waters and causes my vision to be blurry. Dr says nothing wrong with implant. Dont know what else to do. He indicates to me it is all in my head but I see it everyday. Had laser surgery for floaters also.
3 months after cataract surgery my eyes are still tender and puffy they get very swollen if I bend my head to read or do other activities ,this even gives me slight headache,i'm very concerned about it,i'm not using make up nor face creams anymore,my eye dr said its allergies but the allergy test came out neg. Please can you let me know what could be the cause of this and how to heal it?
Many times at night, when I'm in a group of older people, I see a strange glassy circle in the center of each person's eyes from their cataract lens. These people had their surgery several years ago (it's now 2018); is this something that still happens from the surgery or are there new lenses that don't create this strange look? I'm almost ready for the surgery but am waiting until I'm sure I won't have that look, too.
Surgeon says I just didn't see it before. NOT true. I have pics from 2 different drs just 2 months prior to surgery, and the bag was not there. I met with a plastic surgeon and he agrees that the fat pad appears to be swollen for some reason. He has pics from me from a yr ago, and I did not have any bags. He recommends giving it a few more months to see if swelling subsides.
I am nearsighted and have a preexisting posterior vitreous detachment (PVD),and floaters in both eyes..does cataract surgery carry a higher risk of retinal detachment , more PVD , and/or an increase in the floaters ,since I have this preexisting condition ?
Could it be that I was allergic to the numbing drops and gel that was used before the surgery? Will this puffiness subside eventually? Is there a natural cream or essential oil I can use to eliminate these unsightly bags under my eyes? I tried tea bags and slices of cucumber yesterday. Will this eventually help with repeated use? I had cataract surgery in both eyes 6 months ago.
I am a 69-year old female. Last December I had cataract removal on my right eye (left eye was done in September). Since the second surgery, I have noticed a definite and progressively worsening drooping of the right eyelid. This drooping became noticeable within a week after the surgery. It is very noticeable and has begun to interfere with my vision. Is this a common occurrence? Repairable? Any input would be appreciated.
