Had cataract surgery 1 year ago. I still have a film coating over my left eye it waters and causes my vision to be blurry.

I still have a film coating over my left eye it waters and causes my vision to be blurry. Dr says nothing wrong with implant. Don’t know what else to do. He indicates to me it is all in my head but I see it everyday. Had laser surgery for floaters also.

Thank you for sharing your question. The is no correlation between cataract surgery and swollen eyelids. It is most likely allergies, but eyelids often swell up for no apparent reason. If you are concerned, have a consultation with an oculoplastic surgeon. I hope this helps. Good luck,
