Hi, Im 21 and from Indonesia. I had buccal fat removal and now regret it so much. I am aware that there is a fat graft to the buccal fat area but in Asia, I cannot find any surgeon performing that. So if I want to reverse my face, should i go with filler or fat graft only to the subcutaneous fat?
I regret my buccal fat removal and wonder what kind of procedure would make me look like before the OP? I think I look older and more unsymmetrical. The photo is 6 months apart. Thank you!
Hi, I have had a bichectomy a year ago. I ended up whit a hole on one side, that generated that side of my face to collapse. It looks like it has melted. My question is... would a fat transfer procedure restore the volume AND serve as a new support to restore the balance of my face? or there is no way to reverse that? Attached is a picture. Looks like they have removed the whole bichat pad, when they shouldnt. I would appreciate your replays since it has been a rough year for me. Many thanks!
I got buccal fat removal and I regret it. I have been exploring the option with surgeons to get fat injected back to buccal space versus a superficial fat graft. Does the likelihood of developing problematic necrosis increase when you inject back to buccal space (though the inner corner of mouth) versus a superficial fat graft? My understanding is that you are breaking through inner mucus which bacteria can infiltrate. How can I reduce my chances of getting necrosis that can cause deformity?
I am 24 years old and I got buccal fat removal in July 2020. It was the biggest mistake of my life and I wake up depressed everyday. It's only been a year and my face has changed drastically. I look older and tired and my face looks really hollowed. I don't know why the doctor said I was a good candidate, he said I would get the results I wanted. Is there anyway that I can bring back the youthfulness of my face or add fat? I don't want to do fillers forever.
Hello, I had my buccal fat pad removed by an inexperienced surgeon who convinced me that my face was too round... I was persuaded by this surgeon because In fact I always was self conscious about my very round face and big cheeks. Now Im turning 30 years old and frankly I feel like I look much older, I miss my round face and cheeks. What can I do? Perhaps the surgeon removed too much fat? I want to reverse this procedure. Please what can I do? Thank you for reading.
I had buccal fat pad removal done 6 months ago. One side of my face was still puffy, my PS recommended a kenalog 10 injection for that side. It clearly did not remove the puffy tissue, It made it worse by removing fat above the area he injected. I have dark discolored pigement in the skin. Looks like a dime size brown age spot plus a dent. Its been 3 weeks. Can a injection of water delute it any or can vitamins help? I read the kenalog decreases white blood cells, will folic acid help restore it?
I had buccal fat removal and botox jawline reduction a month ago. Now my lower cheek looks really gaunt and my upper cheek looks really out of proportionly full. I wonder if there are any ways to reduce some fat from my upper cheek without surgery to even out the difference and also to add more fat in the lower cheek to balance everything. Thanks.
I had buccal fat removal and was told my face would look slimmer but now i have uneven cheeks and it looks like i have 2 dents. I am looking for a permanent way of reversing it. I feel like my cheeks look droopy. This has really depressed me I just want my face to look normal again. Unfortunately my PS never told me that uneven cheeks could be a possibility if not I wouldnt have done it since I had to save money for the surgery. Please help.
