I had funding from my late husband's estate and thought I ought to improve my health as far as possible for my own future. I need to work and, as a mature woman, that means I need to look fit and healthy to have a chance of developing my career. Facial nerve damage from the removal of a neuroma... READ MORE

My eyes look so much younger now :) I feel great even though it is still bruised and swollen. Stitches coming out on Friday. I can pull an all nighters and still have bright youthful... READ MORE

Let me begin by saying last year I had bleph (by another doctor) on my right eyelid bc it had a lot of excess skin from the crease. I could pick it up with tweezers and see how much more it was than my left lid. Not sure if this caused my right brow to sit lower due to skin being removed.... READ MORE

This post is not meant to tout or recommend or guarantee or even discourage the use of any doctor. It is a diary of my experience. I hope that it will help others to make an informed decision when choosing this path. Ok, so, when I was in my 30's I told my mom if I ever did anything, it would be... READ MORE

I always wanted a brow lift because i was sending the wrong impression all the time and it was costing me. People thought i was angry all the time which i wasn't. Everything fantastic, love my results, however, now that the numbness is gone the itching has set in. I'm thinking that the less I scratch the better. What do you think, experience appreciated. I love Dr. Elam and his staff!!! I am five weeks post-op from having a brow lift with mid-face suspension and revision rhinoplasty and I couldn't be happier. My entire experience from start to finish has been super easy. I knew the moment I walked through the door that this was my office. The... READ MORE

For as long as I can remember, acquaintances and loved ones alike have commented on my facial expression. Ive been told I look serious, angry, mad, studious, pained, or sad. I've looked this way for so long, but the aging process has drawn everything further down. Here's what I've tried: 1.... READ MORE

This was my year to do something for myself. I am 11 days post tummy tuck with lipo. I am55 yrs old, a wife and mother of two teenage daughters (camp this summer). I too, as many here, hate not working out. I am 5'7 and 147 pounds. Always flat stomach but not after girls (birthed)... READ MORE

Although I'm only 35 and didn't have saggy brows quite yet, I felt as though an endoscopic brow lift might be useful in opening up my face and giving me a more refreshed appearance overall. (Plus, who doesn't want the look of beautifully arched brows?!) I returned to Dr. Spiegel after he... READ MORE

I began having trouble seeing a few years ago, and I figured I just needed new glasses. New spec didnt solve my trouble seeing, and then I started tearing up a lot. I also have a genetic predisposition to have really dark circles under my eyes, and I started looking really tired. I went into a... READ MORE

On January 28, 2016 I will be getting an endoscopic eyebrow lift, lower blepharoplasty, and CO2RE around my eyes. My Dr has very good reviews. He said 2mm on right eye and 3mm on left eye. Does anyone know what that means? I'm also concerned with how long recovery will take. I cannot sit for... READ MORE

My original motivation was having cataract surgery that allowed me to see exactly the direction my upper lids were going in, and the huge bags under my eyes. I interviewed over 6 Surgeons. In two weeks I'll have an upper and lower blepharoplasty with a brow lift and a little lasering done under my lower eyes to help with the crepeness of the skin I do need a lower face lift with my neck worked on, but financial and recovery wise I can't do that at this time. I'm a landscaper so I... READ MORE

Two weeks ago I had an upper bletho, brow lift on left eye only, chemical peel under eyes and fat injections into brows and cheeks. Trying to be patient and hold out hope that my eyebrows will look symmetrical but know it is very unlikely. Actually think my left eyebrow looks even lower than it... READ MORE

I went in to talk to Dr. Burns about my hooded eyes. I thought if he removed a bit of skin from each upper eyelid, I'd be golden. He suggested I needed nothing seriously, but if I really wanted to fix the issue, I'd need a brow lift to even the sagging brow (which affected one side more than... READ MORE

During my late 30's to 43 (when I had the procedure), I was noticing, as were others due to the comments such as 'bad nights sleep', 'you look so harassed / tired' I researched thoroughly. I actually took 2 years to full assess the options and had consultations with several surgeons. I used to... READ MORE
