I continue with an uncomfortable tightness at my midsection where Vaser liposuction was applied. It's been almost 2 years and this is still occurring. It causes anxiety and a constant focus on my abdomen with my abdomen contracting constantly against the skin where this procedure took place. There is no fat remaining between the skin and muscle of my abdomen.
Is this normal? Will my skin soften as its too tight? my skin around my belly button is very dimpled and puckered which is concerning me and also how tight my tummy feels. its like its being gripped on the inside of my skin. Please can someone advise me as i had the surgery in Turkey
Hi, I had VASER lipo done on the triceps area almost 4 weeks ago. Recovery seems okay but I noticed that my range of motion is more limited and I have several fairly deep striations on the back of my arms. For example, when I move my arms to do an action similar to the triceps stretch (hand/forearm behind head), the skin over the triceps is very tight so I can't complete the action, and 15cm long, 5mm deep striations criss-crossed on the skin come into relief. Should I be worried?
I am 5 1/2 weeks post opp after vaser lipo and thigh lift. My left leg looks good, the scar healed well and surface and shape of leg looks great. My right leg is a different story, the scar opened in 2 places and is only just starting to heal. The surface of the leg is very lumpy, some lumps feel lose and hollow whilst others are extremely hard and tight. Currently the leg looks a lot worse than before the surgery. Will this improve?
I had vasor 2 weeks ago. Lower and upper stomache. First 2 days it looked amazing ! I feel like its more swollen and lumpy in certain areas. I feel like my skin is incredibly tight when I try lift my arms. (Symptom Occurred last 2/3 days) My stomach still feels a numb fuzzy feeling and unbearable to touch. The thought of having any form of massage yet petrifies me. Am I hindering healing time by not having massage. And is all this normal?
Should I expect it to this degree? Full body Vaser incl. ankles 5 days ago. Understand swelling is normal but got worse yesterday when resuming work (desk job) with no change overnight. Today is much worse and I was concerned I wouldn't be able to get my clothes off they were so tight. See photos below of feet. Side note: I did have occasional swelling on my ankles from sitting too long prior to surgery and utilized compression socks to help.
I am experiencing a horrible feeling of tightness and contraction from my lower stomach to ribs to the point that if Ive been sitting down for a period of time, that I cant fully stand up straight. My compression garment feels more comfortable to wear now so Im guessing the swelling is going down so Im concerned about the tightness being scar tissue which is contracting under my skin and causing this feeling of pulling. Is it normal to feel this?
I had laser liposuction right on my pubic area to decrease the fat pad, now I am having problems with erections and feel like my testicles are not hanging like they were and feel very tight. It's been 2 months I've had it done and even feel like I have lost some size too. Can any doctors please give me any insight? Thank you
