I underwent septorhinoplasty surgery in 2019 and although my breathing improved, my tip was left with a dent in it and was very uneven. I had a tip revision last year with a different surgeon to try to correct this, but since then my nose has started to project downward on my face and feels very heavy/bulbous. The first three pictures are from before any nose surgeries and the last three were taken today. I'm not sure what to do, but any advice/help would be so appreciated! Thank you!
I am just over 1-year post op from my first Rhinoplasty and am very happy, and I did understand that I had some nostril asymmetry prior to surgery. Still, I did not expect it to be this significant from head-on after surgery. My surgeon says we can do a minor adjustment to improve the symmetry slightly, and I'm trying to weigh the risks of going under the knife again, no matter how minor it is. Is there a risk of it being worse? Would love another opinion.
I had some cartilage grafts I believe since I have a seriously crooked botched over done nose. In the morning they are still slightly visible which my doctor said he can add some fat there to help smooth things. I never taped my nose so is this my fault?
I had my rhinoplasty 15 months ago and my hump was removed. 2 weeks postop I noticed that I had swelling on my bridge from both sides,I talked to my surgeon at that time and he said that it was swelling and it would go away in 6 months. As the swelling of my nose subsided the bridge of my nose looked wider. How can I know if this is a complication from the surgery or if the surgeon simply didn't rasp it well enough? My surgeon refused to answer my questions. Any advice would be appreciated.
I had a rhinoplasty 1.5 years ago. Since the beginning after the rhinoplasty, my left side has been way bigger, and both nose sides have looked uneven. I was worried, but my doctor told me that after it heals, it wont look like that. I waited 1.5 years, and it still looks like that. Could someone tell me if its still healing and my nose should look like that? Or was it the doctors mistake during the operation, and he didnt do it right? If yes, could you please be specific and tell me what ex
Ive had 3 rhinoplasties total. I got this same bump after my second rhinoplasty, and although it got way smaller it never fully went away but it didnt bother me since it was so small. Now, after my third surgery, immediately after I had this bump come back and bigger. Its been a year and has not gotten smaller. Sometimes I can press and puss will come out. What needs to be done for this? Thanks!
After 2 failed rhinoplasty revisions, doctor is suggested nano-fat injections to help damaged skin & tissue. He thinks it'll help the soft triangle become healthier for potentially a third revision. Problems include, visible tip graft, pink & sometimes purple nasal tip, scars from perforations from the last surgery, clicking cartilage & frequent pain. It's been one year since the last surgery. Does this sound like a reasonable plan? is there risk of necrosis or blindness? time for a new doctor?
