Why does my revision rhinoplasty look better when I wake up? Unresolved swelling a year and 2 months post op? (Photo)

Fat grafting is a viable option to help correct small deformities and provide better contour. I usually say to wait 12-24 months before making a final decision on a rhinoplasty. I would recommend seeing a board-certified plastic surgeon (with a 6 year integrated plastic surgery residency and The Aesthetic Society accredited aesthetic fellowship) for a consultation. I would recommend a physical exam in person to further evaluate what is going on with the nose.

From these photos, I literally cannot see what you are talking about that seems to be better or worse in the morning vs night. This looks like a pretty good nose in general, esp a revision rhino. You have to remember that plastic surgery is not a game of perfection, it is only of improvement, and with this being at least a 2nd time in the nose, you are asking for even more irregularities. This looks pretty good overall. To answer your other question, it is normal to have swelling and ongoing refinement of a revision nose for even 3-4 years after surgery.
