Hello and thank you for your question. I'm assuming you are referring to the asymmetry present along your right mid/upper nasal sidewall from frontal view? After rhinoplasty (nasal surgery), the nose can become REALLY swollen, and this swelling can take a LONG TIME to resolve (up to 1-2 years to fully resolve). Sometimes there are focal asymmetries and depressions which become visible over time as the post-op swelling resolves. My preference is to address these areas with dermal fillers, particularly if it is before the full 2 years post-op (as in your case, still only 15 months post-op). Fillers are a quick, easy, minimally invasive, and very effective method for smoothing out any focal indentations to make the nose more symmetric and improve the overall rhinoplasty result. Of course they have to be periodically reinjected, as they naturally dissolve over time (usually over a year or so). The alternative is a full blown revision surgery, which is much more invasive. I constantly remind all my rhinoplasty patients how important it is to be patient after rhinoplasty surgery as it can take up to 2 years to see what the final nose will look like. I would not advise you to consider a revision operation prior to that time, especially if you are happy with the results achieved with fillers. I hope this helps! Best Wishes, Dr. Donald Groves Plastic Surgeon

Hello and thank you for your question. Unfortunately, without having been in the operating room during the initial rhinoplasty operation, it is impossible to say exactly what was done. I have answered a similar question you posted on 9/25/23, where you asked if a revision surgery would be...
Your nose looks pretty good. If you were to perform aesthetic measurements on the amount of columella show you now have I think you would find that you fall into the norm. I would strongly suggest leaving your nose alone.
