Immediately after the injections my left cheek started turning blue-ish and by that evening it looked like a strawberry birthmark. My doctor told me it was a very bad bruise and to take arnica pills and apply arnica gel and by the next day i had white bumps.. it's been two weeks of nightmare! My doctor keeps telling me its a bruise but it does not look of feel like a bruise! It's been very sore like needles and also very itchy! It's been a nightmare!
I received Voluma/Volbella (w/ lidocaine) dermal fillers to the nasolabial folds and under the eyes with canula. I have done this treatment before but first time with this doctor. About 48-72 hrs post procedure, I developed a 1 inch small patch of red, slightly itchy and bumpy skin on my cheekbone (adjacent to filler site). After 5 days, the redness and slightly raised skin persist. Is this is an allergic reaction or an infection, and what are recommended at-home or doctor provided treatments?
I got Juvederm voluma injected 9 days ago in my cheeks (Inlove with the results) but Ive noticed a red rash and small bumps (no pus or anything). Ive had voluma before and had nil issues. Theres no swelling, no fever just small red bumps that are so itchy! Im not sure if this is an infection and I pray its not! The bumps are across my cheek not As bad hear the injection site. They arnt painfu/ at all just itchy! I do sometimes get dermatitis but Ive never had it on my cheeks before! Help!
5 days ago I received 1.5ml on each side of fillers in the outer area of my crows feet. First time but from a very experienced injector who knows my face well. Nothing in the tear troughs. For the past two days my eyes have been red and itchy and my upper lash line is slightly discoloured. Bluish purple. No skin blanching or pain anywhere. Please forgive me if this is a panic for no reason; Can necrosis occur in other areas like this or should I just take an antihistamine!
Hello I had cheek filler 6 years ago ,I m not sure if it' was authentic Hyaluronic Acid I had ,now on my right cheek I can still touch there is some tissue under my skin ,left cheek is better.my cheek look not natural too much voluma ,and sometimes my right cheek skin gets sensitive it's itchy get red,Does it can be dissolved ?help Thanks
