I am 40, have got sagging jaw, hollow cheeks and frown lines making me look much older. Want to get non surgical facelift but as I have thin skin not sure if HIFU or Ultherapy will suit me or make my skin thinner. Have read some reviews where people got hollow cheeks after treatment.
I have fat and sagging skin at the jaw corners (below and next to ears), not the jowls. The fat is sagging below the jaw bone, on top of it, and above it. Many aging people present with that exact problem and their faces appear heavy, fat, and saggy because of that. The facelifts do not remove fat there. Can Ulthera be used there to melt the fat and contract the skin so it clings to the jaw bone?
I am under 35 but have already started to see noticeable descent of soft tissue in my mid and lower face, leading to increased and somewhat saggy-looking fulness along my jaw and chin area. (My skin itself does not appear lose.) Im not ready for surgery and not interested in threads or fillers. Ultherapy looked great initially, but I have seen too many compelling cases of it going badly. Are there any safer alternatives?
I have always had slight asymetry but it has gotten a lot worse and noticeable. I have had Dysport treatment to both sides of my jaw. The right responded beautifully and is now slim. The left side has had 3 treatments and it does not respond to treatment. I now have what looks like a ball on the right side of my face. My eye on the right side is also dropping. Is HIFU the solution? How can I fix this?
I have had jaw surgery and have pins and screws in my jaw. Can I do this procedure? Also, if you dont have a lot of collagen left in your skin will you get results? I am 63 but have a little sagging. Thank you
As you probably know, RealSelf and the internet is filled with ultherapy disaster stories. I saw a comment once about damaging results being due to either counterfeit devices or wrong settings used. In the case of wrong settings / treatment depth, what are the appropriate treatment depths for different areas of the face to avoid damage / bad results? (Thin undereye skin / lids, forehead, jaw, brows, etc.) What else should a patient know about settings / technique to avoid bad results? Thanks.
I got Ultherapy 8 days ago and still have these lines along my jaw on both sides (the left is worse than the right). My doctor said that the lines are due to using the 1.5 shallow piece, and prescribed a steroid topical. Will these lines go away? And, how long can I expect it to take? Is this common? Im having a hard time finding information. Any information and helpful advice will be appreciated.
I went for Ultherapy and she told me the energy level was 25 and there were no lines drawn on face. She gave me 70 pulses of energy thru my jaw area on one side. Then to other side. 40 pulses on each side of lower face. Does this sound right?
I have nine dental implants - yes, nine! Im scheduled to have Ultherapy. Also, will it be more painful because of the implants? Ive read enough to know that it is already quite painful. Im wondering how the metal will interact with the laser .
It's been 3 weeks after ultherapy. The swelling is going down but not completely. My main concern is the bruising on my gums! I thought it was only skin deep, so why are my gums affected?! Also, my nose looks like it shrunk. The tip looks and feels shorter. Is this normal? Could it have actually shrunk? Or is it swelling or something else. I'm having so many wierd side effects and I'm so worried! Can anyone explain all this? Should I be worried?
