Again is is quite normal for one side to be more swollen than the other. However you are hopefully wearing some compression leggings since your surgery, and this will help reduce the swelling.

If the pain and swelling of the knees still persist even at this time, it would be best to schedule an appointment with your board-certified plastic surgeon for an in-person examination. It would be hard to determine a complication without any photo. An examination would always be the most accurate diagnostic factor.
