I'm post 4 week from a thigh lift. I sufferd a hematoma and wound opened up and i ended needing the wound cleaned out 3 weeks after the op. The thigh looks like its alot looser than the otherside. Also the way it's healing it looks like they're is going to be more skin than the otherside, also can see skin is looser above the knee.
Almost 3 weeks post op thigh lift and incision on the right leg has opened up and abit on my left thigh and both have opened in the same area at the intersection of the incision, not sure what i am doing wrong i just get up from bed to use the bathroom to clean up and walk around abit as the doctor said can anyone give me some advice pls? I'm going to be staying over night a hospital because Dr feels because I've had bariatric surgery I'm more prone to infection or wound separatean because he said malnutrition which I don't think I'm malnurced and neither does my bariatric surgeon. went to preop last week my direction for recovery is first 2 wks to baby legs keep legs together always closed not to be moving around a lot not to do a lot of walking is this right? I always been told walk after surgery so you don't get blood clots
I had a lateral thigh lift on June 17. Immediately following surgery BP dropped to 60/40 and the nurse noticed some blood clots through the drainage on my right thigh. My PS said that I had some internal bleeding and had to reopen the right thigh to stop the bleeding. The left thigh looks pretty good but the right thigh that had to be reopened doesn't look good at all. Should I begin to worry at this point or based on my pics they are healing as expected? Please Help!
2 weeks ago today I had a thigh, butt and arm lift. I have would separation on the incision in multiple areas. I have 2 drains and one is barely draining anything and is ready to come out. Of course the one that pulled out is the one that has been draining high amounts, maybe 80 per day. If they take this out I feel like I'm almost guaranteeing myself another surgery because of the fluid. What can they do to avoid this?
